I just found out tonight that Kathy Yaude,
Bill Yaude's wife, passed away March 14th.

Last year in the summer my roommate and old friend, John Dries, passed away August 23rd, 2014. Tonight I just found out another of my "old" friends passed on, Kathy Yaude (Yes, Bill Yaude's wife). Granted, he and I have been on opposite sides of the fence, for years. Kathy has moved on with her art, and it is with great sadness that I found out tonight she passed away March 14th. Here is her sisters note about it:

It's one thing to be on different sides (re $cientology and Scientology) ...it's altogether different when death arrives. Suddenly everything else seems so small. My love to those who have lost Kathy Yaude. I know people still "in" will feel like I have no right to post about it.

I disagree. (see why we're on diff sides of the fence?). Kathy was my friend, for many years. She was very creative and left the world a better place. :heartflower: My love to Bill and her family and friends. Gosh, Kathy was SO young.

Although Kathy and I were not in touch since I escaped out of Scientology well....I was wondering who had been tapping on my shoulder the last few days. Fly high my friend....fly high....Tory/Magoo

Oh thank you my late night friend! :) (Karen)

Yes! That is Kathy and Bill Yaude on the right side.

I can hardly believe she is dead. She was so alive, so young....I've known WAYYYY too many members
who have died way to young, way waaaaaay too young.

And "Disconnection" of course doesn't help as I did not get to speak with my friend, before she D I E D.

That is just NOT RIGHT!

To her family and friends, I send my best wishes. :flowers2::heartflower:

To Kathy---Fly high :fly2:

PEACE! :bighug: To ALL

So sorry for this loss. Kathy was a talented landscape designer and visual artist. At least she didn't lose that with Scientology.

I'm curious why Bill, who has been very careful not to publicly reveal his footprints as OSA's notorious Internet troll, has not yet had an obituary posted.

From OCMB:

"1950 Bill Yaude, long-time CoS operative. Tory Christman said Bill Yaude ran a spam and sock-puppet operation against critic websites, on Bill Yaude on "Crazy" and the Internet, 2006, viewtopic.php?t=17921 . Tory summarized that operation: Top Secret OSA Int Internet Mafia, run by Gavino Idda and Bill Yaude running the OT Volunteers, http://www.lermanet.com/osa/osawhoiswho.htm . I'm not surprised, Smurf.

I cannot tell you how many people "died in secret" when I was 'in" the "church".

Steve Miller who was the Cramming Officer at AOLA used to come up to me at least once/month:

"TORY! TORY! You are not going to believe how many people have died!"

I would have only known of 1 or 2----so I would ask: Who?

He would rattle off person after person ...............not ONE who had a public funeral.

ONLY the "OPINION LEADERS" (Someone everyone knows) gets a public funeral...because
it's a "Huge PR Flap"...not because they *really* care. Scientologists believe totally in re-incarnation,
so "They'll be back soon". This is another reason I decided to make this post...as well as wanting to
say good-bye to one more of the many, many friends of mine who died while "in" $cientology.

They may have had a memorial quietly "in" Scientology.
I'm not at all surprised Bill did not post an obituary. He's done enough
for years on the Net that has been harmful, even though I'm sure he believes he's helping.

I posted this just in case she is one of the many $cientologists who die and the many don't even know.

Thank you all and my love to Bill and her family. I know he was married to her pretty much
all of his adult life. Despite our disagreements, I hope he's Ok and friends are helping him.
Bill---give me a call if you can get over the pettiness of your 'church'. You know I'm NOT an all the lies they pitch:
YOU KNOW.
Unlike your "church's" ADs, I really DO care.

Hi Magoo.

Steve Miller and I shared an apartment for several years....back in the mid to late 1980s, prior to him marrying Astrid, in Silver Lake...LA.

I am curious if you know what he is doing these days. And Astrid also....

I know he was a Cram Officer at AOLA.....but he was always NoN-SO staff....

I imagine the daughter they had is a grown woman by now.....what is she doing?

I know Steve was on New OT 7 in the 90s....did he ever finish...? Has he done OT 8?

Steve had completely disconnected from his family and relatives....even before I met him in '83......he was from NYC, as far as I know...

Smurf....
1950? What is that about?

"Long time CoS operative, Tory Christman
I was not a CoS Operative.
I joined $cientology in 1969 with the intent to become and auditor and help people.
I joined the Sea Org in 1972---was routed out shortly after as I was told I "Had to get off of all
medication...which meant getting off of my medication for Epilepsy" (Which the Top Execs years
later told me was "wrong".)
In 1979 my husband, son and I moved from LA to Clearwater, FL and I was asked by
Milt Wolf, then in the Guardian's Office, to "Help us out".
As a volunteer, I did so.

I volunteered for many years, off and on. I guess you could call that an operative....but
I never saw it that way, nor was I on staff for OSA.

This is about Kathy Yaude.
Please keep it on that.
Bill is an entirely different matter, except that they were married.
Kathy knew nothing of Bill's OSA Projects, except that he was working with them.

Again, my she R.I.P. and my view is she is *finally, really free*

Interesting that you knew Steve Miller. I knew him mostly in the 80's when I was around the Complex.
In 1989 I got onto OT 5 and soon after OT 7, and spent 7 years, lonnnnnnnnng years on OT 7 until I finally
woke UP. That was done at Flag (every 6 months) and at home, "Solo" (me, myself and I :)

I have no further info about him. I HOPE he woke UP and got OUT.
I've never heard a word about him, so my guess is he's still "in". However,
many people leave, never speak out---so we shall see. Tick Tock, "dave"....
Tick Tock: Time IS on *our* side!

Thank you ALL

AOLA (and all the other SO Service Orgs) were ordered to get rid of all NSO. I think it was around 1990 or 1991. I think Steve was literally the last to go. Him and Sue Soloman. They managed to get through all the other purges somehow but they couldn't make it through the final one.

I think that Steve (and maybe Astrid, too) worked for one of the LA field groups after that. I don't know which one.

He'd been AO's cram off for years. He probably didn't really know anything else.

I'm betting she passed from cancer. In January, her mother-in-law, Caroline Yaude, who lives in Bellingham, WA. had Kathy listed in her church program.. 'In Need of Prayer'.

Good to know, Lulu Belle, :thankyou:

My ex-husband (now) and I were both working for Celebrity Center as NSO
and AOLA as NSO (Non Sea Org)...in the late 70's. NSO was cancelled way back then.

Did they re-enforce it later? I was "in" in the 90's...and as far as I knew, NSO never was
brought back. Yes, Steve did work for AOLA as a non-Sea Org member. I never knew
what his agreement was, but I don't think it was "NOS staff" per say.

So you think in 1990/91 Steve was let go, as well as Susan? I thought sure I saw him well
into the 90's, but I could be wrong on that one.I know I worked with Susan at Management Success
(A W.I.S.E. company/run by Scientologists) in the 90's. One funny thing about that: ALL of the ex-Sea Org
Reg's were there, too, selling MS Services! Remember in the old days Sea Org were NEVER
allowed to leave and do anything but return to the Sea Org. Sometime in the 90's that changed.

You know Susan died, too, right? So sad how many $cientologists die way too young.

Thanks, LuLu Belle :)

Yeah. I wondered how she died but I never know if it's tacky to ask questions like that.

I've never been good at the "what to say when someone dies" conversations.

She couldn't have been that old. I worked with her on something - I think it was in the mid 80s - when I was in the SO. She worked for a company I was working with. She was maybe a few years older than me; I'd say she may now have been in her early 60s.

Does that sound right?

Another Scientologist dies of cancer.

Great. Just great.

Ahhhhhhh so very sad, if (IF) true.
SOOOOO many $cientology women (members of C of $) die from Cancer!

I told you in the early 90's so many of my friends had died, I asked Dr. Denk (My Doctor then)
"Why are ALL these people dying?"

He told me, privately: "Tory, EVERY SINGLE PERSON (from our clinic: The Shaw Health Center) who
tried to handle Cancer naturally is D E A D.
Some who used medicine/some natural...some lived, some died. Those are our statistics"

I hope she got more than prayers...although prayers can often help, but with Cancer, IF that is in fact
what she died of, medicine
is definitely needed. Sadly-----she's gone way too young.

Thanks, Smurf. I can't tell you (and all here) how impressed I am at many of the ex's and critics for their
research abilities. Last night, within 5 minutes---two different people who don't even know each other PM'd me
about this, and within minutes, the one told me about her death. The other found the sister's FB site and showed
me the link about her death. Now you have this link to her mother-in-law. $cientology has NEVER had this
kind of "intel" as they would call it. I greatly appreciate the facts.

I hope she got medical care....I hope. Either way, my love to her family and friends.

:bighug: to you ALL....

Yes, that does sound about right, for her age. I'm not sure myself...but I know she (and Bill) were
a few years younger than myself and my now ex-husband.

I wonder if he knows. I understand re not knowing what is the right thing to say when someone dies.

I don't think there is a right/wrong way---except those idiots that picket funerals. That, no matter their
"1st Amendment rights" is just plain WRONG. :faceslap::pullhair::naughty:

Hang on about dying of Cancer...we don't know that for sure.
If someone knows, please come let us know.

Thanks!

Hi Tory

This is my first time here. I was staff for 8 years. I finally decided to come out because I heard of the death of my former lover from my staff days. I tracked down some mutual acquaintances from the time and the lack of compassion was stunning.

I've watched many of your videos and enjoyed them thoroughly. You have moved me quite a ways towards "better" but I find myself still stuck in the 8 year "incident".

Welcome, SPsince83!

Can you tell us when you where on staff and where? If you're worried about "Fair Game"
actions, skip that. (Or you can send me a PM)

So sorry to hear about the death of your former lover from your staff days.
Yes, if they're still "in", often the lack of compassion is amazing and gross. So very sorry!

I'm very happy my videos have helped you!!
Get these two books, for starters:
1) "You Can Heal Your Life" by Louise Hay
and
2) Captive Hearts, Captive Minds (What cults are, why people get suckered "in"
and how to get out, for real.

You need to do some work on YOU. Also, just go to the library and check out the
Self-improvement section. Find books you like and start learning. It helps strip off
the "being stuck in the 8 year "incident".

Best wishes to you

Thanks, Tory. I was on staff at Delphi and San Francisco. I was caught up in the Mission Holder Conference/Finance Police fiasco, but already had doubts. I held many posts, mostly Tech and Qual. I was a cl v grad, dn clear. I was declared for false auditing reports, which was true, but in my defense, I was just trying to avoid cramming. Not proud of it but it got me out. It took almost 20 years before I knew I would never go back. It was reading Piece of Blue Sky that gave me the courage to read OTIII. That was the turning point. Coooties. For fucksake. Then came anonymous some years later and now a significant death all leading me here. I'm actually doing mostly ok. I've done lots of cool stuff since being out and the "stuck in the incident" line was somewhat tongue in cheek (but not completely). I go years without thinking about it much, but sometimes it hits me like a ton of bricks. The last month has been one of those times. I haven't talked much about it over the years partly because nobody but an ex can really understand and I don't know any, especially those I have had a previous relationship with.

So here I am.
