What they consider to be their 'reactive mind', is actually just their mind. Their basic personality is designated as the enemy, and taken apart piece by piece. What is left after that is a state of mental poverty, devoid of normal desires and responses. They are KSW made flesh.

I think you are right about this. You hit the nail on the head.

eeeeew, spiritual pornography

Unbelievable...

Reminds me of a story that happened in 1999 and was told to me by Vincent Magny a friend who was in Flag for his 6 month check.

This was the time when all the crew was so thrilled about the release of Battlefield Earth movie. All the base including publics went to see this piece of crap and one guy said to a staff before leaving Flag after service that he didn't like the movie that much and he was instantly sent to ethics and had to buy 2 extra intensives for a sec check.

But the story you're telling is even more frightening.

Scientology became a total nightmare.

My God have mercy

:omg::omg::omg:

I found an article where the original script writer talks about the movie, and how he got fired for refusing to make a bunch of crazy changes.

He says the changes came from "John's [Travolta's] camp", but I'm guessing that the source was DM, who was unlikely to have been able to resist micro-managing the movie. Thus, any criticism of the movie was a criticism of DM's competence, and we just can't have that, can we?

Valuable insight. Over and over again, a new Scientologist who displays any resistance to what a reg or recruiter wants him to do is told "That's just your reactive mind talking". So the reactive mind is really anything that allows a Scn to resist being a slave to Scn.

I think it's possible that if Flag is packed and upstat, maybe that's because they are delivering the lower services that used to be delivered more by Missions and Orgs. It may actually be evidence of a contraction in Scn as a whole, i.e., they are taking public away from those outer orgs. The "beast" is losing the lifeblood in its limbs, if that makes sense.

What they are doing now is taking trade away from the Ideal Orgs and routing it to Flag. This will be incredibly hard on those who contributed to the Ideal Orgs. They will never make any money through this. Just keep losing it keeping empty buildings running.

I keep getting Scn. junk mail that says 'Go to Flag to do your lower grades."

I couldn't make sense of it b/c it seemed like using a cannon to kill a sparrow. Now I get it. It should read "Come to Flag so we can take all your money!"

Expanding a bit on what I said, Scientology defines sanity as total submission to Scn and the intentions of its leadership. Insanity(psychosis) is defined as any non-alignment with management, any disagreement with Scn at all.

And hence Scn MUST enforce disconnection.

Because the desired mental state is so terribly fragile.

It cannot stand up to too much of people getting up and saying "Hey! The emperor has no clothes!". All the little doubts must remain hidden away and not thought about, each person must assume that he's alone in his doubts, and the doubts are a sign of his own out-ethics (insanity) and must be vigorously suppressed.

Senior management must not allow anybody around who might observe the obvious and actually SAY something about it, because Management's dominance would be threatened.

Now we know WHY LRH wrote the SP and disconnection issues.

It shows a lack of direction. There has been enormous pressure put on the membership to open Ideal Orgs everywhere. Local members have gone into deep debt to do this. And then when they have the orgs and after they have been regged again to refurbish them and after they have been regged again to equip them then top management steals away all their potential customers and routes them to Flag.

I nearly choked when I read stories that people were competing for staff posts at the Ideal Orgs as if they would be making money at some point. What they fail to realise is that the executives will be sent to Flag for training and the local Orgs will owe Flag that money. And then when they look like getting any customers then they will be routed to Flag. Top management has torpedoed the Ideal Orgs program. They are just buildings to them that can be sold when the need arises (when the lawsuits hit). If I had contributed to an Ideal Org then I would be very upset.

That's just bank! :whistling:

Actually, very astute. After you peel the onion back to this there is really nothing left to discuss is there?

ultimate outcome?

What is the ultimate outcome here? The idle orgs do NOT own the physical properties. From what I have read/understood the public donated for the properties, which are held by various corporate entities and either mortaged back to or leased back to the corporate entity such as Las Vegas Foundation or the one in Washington DC that Anon Sparrow pickets all the time. What happens when mortgage payments can't be met or monthly rent paid?

That's just standard scientology. Where Amway meets Kafka. It seems the only purpose at this point is to torment, demoralize and destroy as many people as possible.

I think, to top management, Ideal Orgs are just a way of raising money. They get to own these buildings, not the local parishioners. It certainly helps to legitimize Scientology in the Frank Zappa sense that the difference between a cult and a religion is the amount of real estate they own. The Church of Scientology is closer to being a religion using this definition and I think the definition is a workable one. The Jehova's Witnesses would just be a cult if they didn't own so much property. So they become a religion and when the lawsuits hit they have all this real estate they can sell off to pay the legal judgements.

You are too cynical. The point is to MAKE MONEY, MAKE MORE MONEY, get others to produce in order to MAKE MORE MONEY.

Praise be to Source

You are telling me I'm too cynical? Lol! Yes I agree the point is to make money but I have to ask the question why? The guy's got more money than God, why more? And so many are driven to collapse and no further involvement in the church, how does that help? At this point I don't think anyone in the world could give a rational explanation for this behavior as I don't think there is one. You can talk about Elron all you want but dm has obviously totally lost it.
