How to Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind

Lower level Scientology training explained like TRAINING ROUTINES. Remember the training of pavlov's dog ? Hubbard is not getting rid of your "reactive mind" He is retraining it.

What is the Subconscious Mind?

Who's driving your car? Oh, you are? Ok, well are you driving the car with your conscious or subconscious mind? That will depend on how long you've been driving. Do you remember when you were learning to drive and you found yourself drifting all over the road? After a while you started thinking less and less about the mechanics of driving. It became almost automatic. The conscious mind teaches the subconscious mind and then... the subconscious mind takes over.

That's pretty important stuff. Is it possible your conscious mind has been teaching your subconscious mind to fail? I'd bet on it. How often do you engage in negative self-talk? Stuff like "you dummy, you can't do that", "what a jerk you are", and "what makes you think you will ever amount to anything?" Does any of that sound familiar?

Reprogramming the Subconscious and Internal Dialogue
The voice in the back of your mind that chatters away about useless and random things throughout the day is known as the internal dialogue. It says things like "I'm hungry; wow that person is attractive; ouch my back hurts; maybe I should go to the store later on; I wonder what my friend is doing right now" etc. Such mental chattering to oneself is really a huge waste of energy and only serves to maintain one's focus on the physical realm and everyday life. THAT is what the internal dialogue is and does. Most people don't bother to take the time to discipline their minds enough to keep it from rambling on in a random manner. What is so bad about this seemingly normal mental activity? If you are constantly sending yourself false negative messages about yourself, then you will continue to perpetuate a negative outlook on reality while believing your own erroneous thoughts.

How To Reprogram your Brain

Step 1:
Meditate. Meditation can activate change. It helps to open the frontal lobe of the brain, which is considered one way to change your belief patterns and has been called the gateway to the subconscious mind.

Step 2:
Set a clear intention. Clearly state to the universe what it is you want in your life; this can be an emotional, physical or spiritual issue. Spend a few minutes each day revisiting your intention.

Step 3:
Make it visual. The subconscious mind does not know the difference between fact or fantasy. This is huge for you! You can help rewire your brain using visualization skills. Create a vision board which consists of gluing pictures to paper. Spend a few minutes each day enjoying/visualizing what you would like in your life.

Step 4:
Awaken. Each time you go to do something you know is because of the brain's programming, stop! Awaken yourself to the fact you are doing this thing because of your hard-wiring. Make a conscious decision to change the behavior. In the case of something physical, tell your body how much you love it! It sounds quirky, however it is a very powerful option for change. For example, you have extremely tight hamstrings. Begin to stretch them and as you do, have a conversation with them. "Relax, hamstrings, relax. It is safe for you to let go and move forward."

This is dodgy. To reprogramme the reactive mind one must first accept that there is such a thing as a reactive mind; every sane person knows there is no such thing. The "reactive mind" and the sub-conscious are two very different things.

This L. Ron Hubbard thing was (it's gone forever now) the most reactive thing-being I've met in this incarnation. The Hubbard thing was its own reactive mind.

Do you agree you have a mind ?
