I had one of the most vivid dreams last night. It was far too realistic and when I woke up I knew I had to tell you all here.
I haven’t dreamt that vividly in a long time. Complete with background sounds and full color – amazing.
So the dreams starts with the knowledge that I am part of a group of people who are aware of what is about to happen, scared, heart racing, hands not shaking a pretense of calm on all of our faces, yet knowing glances around the corner between all of us. I see those navy blue S.O. uniforms, complete with large gold braids, gold bars, “mission ribbons”, S.O. caps, I see Kay Connelly and Guillaume Lesèvre but I don’t recognize any of the others, I just know they are “with” ‘us’.
I am in the entry way of what is a large luxurious home and I hear david miscavige berating and cussing at someone (you know, the usual), though not quite yet at the tone and volume where he might physically attack, it had potential - but not yet.
I know the time is near, I am scared but excited….I start to day dream about what it will be like with him gone, all the horrendous things that have happened will be over when suddenly I hear him start a string of profanity laced threats between snarls – with the distinct sound of surprise, fear, disbelief and horrendous hate filled anger. Threats that he will kill Marty, kill so and so, a short list of people.

I step around the corner from the 8 foot tall wooden door to my left to peer out the large double doors leading to the outside of the enormous home to my right and I see a flurry of FBI, Tactical Police in full black gear guns drawn but not aimed rush past me into the room I was just hearing david’s now jumbled tirade of threats, a struggle, hand cuffs and other sounds I can’t place to a mental image. I realize while they are busy arresting david that ‘we are all in on this’, that this has been a plan we all knew and were terrified of going wrong. Those S.O. closest to him, the majority turned against him and helped these law enforcement officials into the compound so they could arrest him.

The next thing I see is three men carry out a hog tied david miscavige (only in my dream they had him bend at the waist, hands tied to his ankles and the FBI agent mumbling as he walked by carrying david, something about how they couldn’t get david out of this position so they ‘just tied him that way’). As they walked by I noticed that they had duck taped his mouth, his face was red-purple with hate and anger, sweat just pouring down his face – that was when I started to realize I was dreaming…..

Premonition?

This is very good news but it is NOT a government enquiry into Scientology and it will not end its tax exempt status either in Australia or anywhere else in the world. Their abuses will continue but the negative publicity that attends this affair will reduce their capacity to harm at least for a while.

Experience has taught me that government officials will NEVER get anything done. The most they will do is sit on their hands for a few months.

Mark my words - in exactly two years from my posting this the Co$ will still be operating in some form in Australia and they will still be operating tax free. If they have been stopped (there will still be City Offices even then) then it will be through the continued efforts of Internet activists and picketers. It won't be through any government legislation.

The bits I can tell you are that there will be a report soonish from the Fair Work Ombudsman who has been investigating the cult's workplace shenanigans - that should cripple them further here in Oz when they start having to abide by the laws of the land regarding pay, conditions etc. etc..

There are ongoing police investigations into their crimes - OSA knows all about these and are pretty powerless to do anything so they're trying Ostrich Tech on them.

Unfortunately Religion is a sacred cow in the United States, and when fundamentalists start calling the shots, religion takes the place of education as we have seen in various religious dictatorships in the Middle East.

Thankfully Australia understands the danger of this, and is taking strong and decisive actions to prevent the insanity we that we currently have occurring in our country.

Religion is the one of the biggest obstacle to Peace, if not the biggest.

If I could, I would nominate all the ex-Sceintologists in Australia who made this possible and Nick Xenophon for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Jump on me if I'm wrong, but there seems to be some misunderstanding about the UK consequences of this as regards COSRECI.

My understanding is that CoS(UK) genuinely thought that COSRECI had been registered as a religious charity in South Australia. Well, ahem, so did all of us! However whilst CoS(Aussie) had postulated this they never actually did it. That error has now been rectified with COSRECI registered as a non-profit and its formal address relocated to the Adelaide Org, according to the small print on the latest CoS(UK) leaflet:

COSRECI.... "a non-profit association incorporated with limited liability in South Australia (ICBA Reg No A5172). 18 Waymouth Street Adelaide SA 5000. Registered in England at Companies House under No. FC9154"

CoS(UK) was therefore claiming tax relief - but they were not actually getting it, according to the last document I've seen. They were paying the tax but hoping to claim it back. Naturally the UK Taxman will not be amused at this, but no one is going to get arrested for fraud or similar.

Plus, this does NOT mean that COSRECI is a charity, a non-profit, or anything similar in the UK. The arrangement is that the UK and South Australia recognise each other's charities for tax purposes, which is not to the UK's advantage as the South Australian registration is a formality and bears no resemblance to the UK system.

As I understand it the proposed legislation will sweep away charity regulations in States and replace them with a single Federal law and a body to administer it.
