"Janet Fowler then demanded the briefcase be returned again, by saying, 'I want it back now, right now!' " Claps wrote in his statement. The wife eventually agreed to speak with the investigators after Claps explained that he just needed some background on her husband. She said that Ciancio had sent e-mails to Rex Fowler threatening to sue him, because of money that the former executive said Fowler Software owed him."

Well, the media having the opinion that it's unimportant sounds just like an OSA programme target..

No. Just no. Inconsequential as in not likely to result in anything interesting - being a formality on the way to trial. It's not until the actual trial revs up that the media has a reason to cover it again. And since this is a serious crime with unusual cultic circumstances, I think the coverage will be extensive locally. It might turn into national news as well.

An OT VII, Scientology Minister/Auditor/Contributor/you name it doing R2-45 to a wog and then to himself, literally?!
Can I say - RED FLAG? I think I should, rather must. This is important. It can not be justified by anyone, in any way.
And that's why this is extremely important.

Thank you, Oggy.

What they can do is to try to make it to go away with the minimum publicity/media exposure
(money and connections can do wonders sometimes).

I might be a bit too paranoid, but I actually see it as an option in this case.

So we need to post away, wright to the key people, talk, etc., on the
subject matter to make sure it won't fucking go away. I hate PR. Somehow, it's a lie most of the time.

No PR, for no cause, ever worth peoples lives and their sanity.

I firmly believe that Co$'s extortionate "regging" practices had a majority part to play in causing the mental breakdown of Rex Fowler to the point that he would commit murder on an innocent party who had truthfully done him no wrong. :bigcry:

Well, sure, there's the regging but what would have led up to reducing a normally intelligent and caring man to put up with the regging in the first place? I would say it might have something to do with the L Ron Hubbard auditing/technology he received which reduced his cognitive functioning to such a state that he believed he was acting in the best interests of the planet by killing a wog.

I believe every guess is correct here, it's a combination of things.
A combination of things that made an advanced Scientologist to kill another
person and attempt to finish himself.

How is that for confronting evil, you who lurk, OSA or anyone?

This is your real test. Confront this. Anything else in life will be a peace of cake.

Any Anon in Denver that could attend the hearings if the media isn't covering it?
It could be reported on here or in a blog? I'm sure it will get the attention it deserves. Otherwise, I fear not.

The county court website provided by Smurf gives one week of records. That's why it may come up with 0 records if you try the name and/or case number. Keep checking.

Chances of an insanity plee?

Though an obvious choice this is probably not going to happen, especially if there is any involvement by any entity of CoS.

Figure it out. If he pleads insanity, well, what could have possibly caused that?

Surely someone making it nearly to the end of the imaginary bridge, hell, even getting a foot on the bridge in the first place, should have been cleared from the start.

What you say? Scientology trying to pass on super-dooper powerz to the unworthy just because there is money to glean?

Imagine that.

(catch mah drift?)

No. He didn't meet the legal burden because he tried to commit suicide afterwards. I suspect his attorneys will mount a "diminshed capacity" defense.

"The critical distinctions are that diminished capacity is a partial, negating defense (negates an element of the state's case) with the burden on the state to show that the defendant acted with the requisite state of mind while insanity is a complete but affirmative defense - the defendant bearing the burden of proving that he was legally insane."

When it comes to anything scientology, it never has anything to do with truth and facts, only PR illusion. Why, I used to know a tulpa who was exactly that, only PR illusion. Hubbard I think its name was.
