Free my ass:

First of all is the "freeloaders" bill. Never mind that
you were contributing full time. Often without getting
much auditing or training. But when you actually did
get a few services, they keep tabs on them don't they?

This means there was ZERO value on your service,
but moneytary value on the services you recieved.

But the biggest kicker is the idea of being prevented
from just becoming a "public" member. You can't
just easily say "sorry, sea org is not for me, I want
to become a public again." It must be hellish for
those who want to be Scientologists, but not Sea Org.

Especially if you gave up your career to go in.

Scientologists are scum, criminals and totally evil for what they
do to sea org members.

Wasn't sure whether to start a new thread or add to this. Weiber over on OCMB started this thread and i fully agree with him on making sure their is more public awareness of the plight of the RPFers.

http://ocmb.xenu.net/ocmb/viewtopic.php?t=27932

Some people say they went in voluntarily, maybe so, but under the influence of Hubbard think. No matter which way you want to look at it, the RFP is a violation of basic Human Rights and as such needs public awareness and government scrutiny.

Whilst i think the thread on Spy vs Sci is a fantastic idea, i think the RPF is destroying people behind closed doors.Red Pill suggests dressing up as RPFers and using paper chains to give the appearance of convicts/RPFers.I think this is a brilliant idea. What do others think?

I think it's a great idea, tamasin. Remember, you can protest anything you want to as an individual. The themes are just a suggestion. Seems like the signs at protests hit on a bunch of different issues and RPF is one of the biggies for me.:)

Pitbull, Totally agree.

I agree, that's part of why I keep all my signs and bring em back to the next protest for whoever wants to use em. I actually go through several different signs during each protest because a lot of the issues are important to me. I like the themes, but I also don't want people to forget the other issues either.

Thanks for the feed back.

I love the themes and it does generate a lot of interest from the public, it also creates a lot of fun for everyone.

The thing i find so difficult at times is which issue to bring most focus on.When people ask me "Explain whats so bad about Scientology?". I usually start with "Have you got a year or two?" There is so much that is wrong with $cientology, its hard to know where to begin.

I nearly always start with disconnection because it affected me in a big way, and the abuse of children which is very dear to my heart as again i was affected by this mentally and am appalled by any abuse of children.

Lately i have been reading alot about the RPF and am reduced to tears on many occasions, its my inclination to write "i just can't believe what i'm reading ". Actually that isn't what i mean, unfortunately I can believe exactly what i am reading from other peoples accounts as from my own time on the Apollo this same kind of stuff was going on, one of the reasons I knew i had to get away was because I knew it was getting worse on a daily basis and I don't think I would have survived if i had stayed. For anyone reading this that thinks all the abuse started with David Miscavige, you couldn't be more wrong. Dead or alive, it all started with L. Ron Hubbard and I personally hold him fully responsible.

I'm going to see if i can find a boiler suit and wrap myself in chains for the next protest and hopefully one of those amazing anons on Enturb will come up with a brilliant flyer on the RPF. RPFers and ex RPFers I am routing for yer.:)

For me it's children first, I know firsthand what child abuse and rape can do to a kid, second is disconnection, then the RPF and other abuses last. A lot of times I simply can't find the words to express how the stories make me feel :bigcry: .

Oh god, Angl, I am so very sorry. You are quite right it is the children that should come first, when i said I start off with disconnection, it is from a childs point of view.My own.

I know what you mean about finding it difficult to find words to express how you feel about the accounts of people in Scientology and the Sea org, I :bigcry: too.

I'm going to send a personal message to you.

I understand starting with disconnection first, I think in some ways that's easier get the public interested. I should have clarified that those are my personal reasons for protesting in order of importance to me. When I talk with people at protest I usually start with the theme, then move on to disconnection and then child abuse. I try not to overwhelm them all at once and make sure they know were they can get more information. I've found one of the most effective questions to ask them is "What would you do if your church told you you couldn't talk to a family member because they aren't the same faith as you?". Even with as families being separated by large distances nowadays family is still a very important thing for most people. It's definitely a good starter. I think family plays a HUGE part in discussing the RPF also, families being separated for years because I "church" says one of them was naughty, ridiculous. Then going from there into how they are treated while in the RPF. I haven't ever been "in" but from reading peoples accounts online it is horrendous. Thank you for your sympathy, I know many on here have had it much worse than me. I haven't posted my story yet partly because it's hard but also because I don't want to take any focus away from those who've been involved in the CoS. I feel for all those who have suffered and want to do whatever I can to help.

It's all so horrible it's hard to pick one abuse over the other for me. The kids, the elderly, the RPF, disconnection...the list just goes on and on and on. I just get ill reading some of these stories.

And you are right. LRH did start it. Davey is just following in his footsteps. LRH was a monster as far as I am concerned.

I want you to know- that you do not equivocate! I for one really like your choice of words and sentiments. There is one word that I especially like when I think of the cos-EVIL! It's a seldom seem word but-it's short, easy to spell and totally appropriate.

choice? At 13yrs old, it is RPF or the streets

As some of you know I was sent to the RPF at 13 w/o orders. My mom didn't know till two weeks later. I was put on 24 hour watch in a cage that was suppose to be a office in a basement. My choice was to do the RPF or live on the streets in Hollywood. When my mom did find out, she couldn't help me for some reason. I was on the RPF for about 6 months intil I blew. My mom and Security went looking for me up and down Hollywood..my mom of course thought the worst. I actually found my real dad and went with him. They showed up and my mom pled with my dad to have him drive me back in forth to the org to route out correctly as she was at INT at this time and if I didn't do this, she couldn't have contact with me. This was only for this time, later we never talked. The RPF was a nightmare. Bea Kiddo met me at this time..

the roaches and that dumbwaiter machine

You would have to keep your confront in..do you remember the dumb waiter machine that made noice or was it a huge dumpster? I know you were very ticklish during the assist. I actually knew you were going to make it..you were very driven. I felt like I was pulling you down, but I had never down auditing and had taught myself how to read-so educated was not my best suit back then and of course I was 13. How old were you at that time? You were young too.

I'm glad you both were able to be there for each other, I know that had to have helped you both get through such a horrible situation. I'm extremely happy you're both out now and can tell your stories. It makes me sad to hear what all you went through. I'll be happy when the day comes that nobody else has to experience the abuse that goes on in the RPF.

Love the idea of an RPF protest with boiler suits and chains!

I am trying to get the names of people currently on the RPF at Saint Hill for a post card campaign, can anyone help? I have two possibles so far, Dick Jones, the ex-ED of Plymouth Org, and Raef Warren, who I have been told may have been on the RPF since 1992, ie 16 years. There must be more, and this info may not be accurate. We know they have a workshop at Walsh Manor and possibly berthing there and are transported to Saint Hill by minibus.
Someone who left recently says they are now wearing jeans and black T-shirts. Someone else saw several people in the night lined up on the steps at Saint Hill, not speaking to anyone, there were about 20 people, but this was a few years ago.

Current photos would be good, as there are people available who would recognise them. Any info?
