It got changed for obvious reasons to 'production is the basis of morale'. Can't have those staff and so members thinking they have an excuse for low morale, now can you?
Under Davie, will it change in 'income is the basis of morale' since they don't have to produce with the 'humanitarian' awards.

The true basis of morale is seeing/knowing that your potulates work. Things like production, completing cycles of action, having a win, getting what you want, and a million more things, are all just sub-set evidences of the basic "knowing/seeing that your postulates work".
The reason you came into Scio was that you believed they didn't, the reason you left was that they still didn't and there was no prospect in the CofS of this changing. Every Goal that anyone has ever pursued has at its core the desire to have one's postulates work. Every identity you've ever adopted was because you felt your postulates would work better with it.
The above is all there is to it, and the inverse is also true - the only failure you've ever had in life is postulate failure. Ditto with all other unwanted things.
