It's "expansion" seems to be much like that of a fart.
They both expand and drift along on whatever currents abound but what they forget to mention is that, like a fart, it dissipates into nothingness.
Of course if you had your nose too close to "source" you might have little shit particles embedded into your nostrils, sinuses and think "I smell it everywhere".
