By the way, readers, if you are so inclined to help, there is a need for court documents from some of these cases. We have some but not all. Every complaint put on the internet helps inform the public. If interested in helping purchase one or some, please PM me and I will direct you to where they can be obtained. The costs range from $25/per document to ???? It can be very costly, especially the Narconon cases. Ethercat and the team at Narconon Reviews are happy to get any help towards obtaining what we can.

7:41 pm So at this point, we think tomorrow Ray will file a list of discovery that he wants before his side can be given to counter Cedillo. The church then has until Friday at noon to answer it, and then Judge Waldrip will make his decision Friday afternoon.

But after what Nick told us Waldrip said in court today, we’d be very surprised if he didn’t grant Monique the ability to gather that evidence, and then give her answer to the anti-SLAPP on February 16.

On January 24, the church’s motion for reconsideration (to convince Waldrip not to order Miscavige’s deposition) and Monique’s motion for sanctions will be heard.

And while Waldrip threatened Lamont Jefferson that Miscavige better be ready to be deposed next week, we think it was just a way of delivering the message that Lamont’s argument was really stupid.

Now we’ll call Ray Jeffrey and see if we can get his version of what happened. We may or may not start up a separate story.

I haven't checked the court docket today, but did notice yesterday that they'd inadvertently listed Ray P. Jeffrey's name as "defense counsel".

If you (or anyone else) opens a thread about this legal case, please let me know so I can link it to the calendar here at ESMB - unless you'd prefer I not do that? It's your decision and I'm happy to do/not do whatever you deem best.

oh no, it took me YEARS before they agreed to pay back money I lent. Even after showing documented truth they did everything they could not to pay back. Then when they did they were late almost every time despite having money to pay for staff bridges and whatnot. Then they stopped paying and comminicating shortly thereafter Rock Center. Imagine that.

how about we remove it for now until lawyer gives okay. Its a pretty clear case of breach of contract, they already admit to owing money, I would just hate for anything to screw it up.

Whenever you or anyone else spots a date mentioned on a blog post or court site, please post it here and I'll update/revise accordingly.

I didn't put the specific date requested by Mr. Jeffrey (January 29th) because it's still (sadly) just a requested date for the deposition.
Once it gets hashed-out a bit more in court, I'll happily add the date of DM's deposition to the calendar itself. With smileys. And popcorn.
