Scientology NOI alliance. This will not end well.

Miscavige will rue the day he endorsed the cult's program to align with Nation of Islam. Yes, the two cults have much in common, but..... There are other threads about that subject.

Now with all eyes on Europe, it is plain to see that the open borders and socialist policies there have set the stage for a siege by radical Islamicists. This siege could likely turn into World War. And the situation will not improve* as long as the same leadership and same policies continue in effect. (George Soros Open Borders plan, for one.)

Anyone who watches the news can see what has happened with unchecked mass migration by Sharia-loving Muslims...in Germany, in Sweden, in Belgium, in the UK, in France....especially France.

Keep your eyes on France. The powder keg has been lit.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, watch this short video. Then let's discuss.

*It's probably already too late.

Admittedly, I only watched half of the video, but is this thread actually about scientology in some way?

Because it's looking to me like it's a brief and gratuitous mention of scientology at the beginning, and the rest is subject matter that belongs in the Politics section. :)

I am willing to hold off on moving it out of General Scientology Discussion, if you can show how it is about scientology and NoI.

You do understand that the "Nation of Islam" has as much in common with the historic islamic faith as Scientology does?

The NOI could be accurately described as the black panthers crossed with a UFO cult, the things that look "islamic" in the NOI are merely window dressings in hopes of lending some credibility to their BS (positioning it as Hubbard would say). Their theology was made up whole cloth by a grifter named Wallace Fard who picked up followers in the black communities of Detroit ninety years ago. (Hubbard picked up followers from the neurotic white middle class of 1950's America)

Wallace Fard Muhammad, the founder of the NOI, could have been Hubbard had Hubbard been born in the 1880's. (Wallace Fard was no african nor african-american, but described by his first common law wife as a caucasian New Zealander, but just like Hubbard, Fard was such a con man and grifter who knows if that was accurate. Other records point to him being born in Hawaii. )

The NOI experienced a great split in the 1970's when Elijah Muhammed (the second leader of NOI) died. Elijah's son actually took many NOI followers to the real islamic faith and dropped the UFO and Wallace Fard worship. The other half stayed with Calypso Louis (Farrakhan) and faithful to the UFO mumbo jumbo. This is why the Farrakhan and Miscavige can worked together so well, they are poison fruit from the same type of tree. Both are leaders running high pressure, money scheming UFO cults, that were founded by others, into the ground and struggling for survival.

The biggest difference is CoS has money but few members, the NOI has members but not much money (that all went in Calypso Louis' pockets) so it made for an obvious quid pro quo for Miscavige/Farrakhan - even if made the wider world wonder wtf. The NOI are here to fill all the empty seats in Scientology that Miscavige can't fill and Louis gets to be a big time FSM and rake in the money.

TL;DR Nation of Islam ≠ Islam

Maybe I should have included several key similarities in the 2 groups.

They are both totalitarian ideologies that want to make the world in their image because their God/guru said so.

They both believe in some form of heaven/OT state which, if reached, will justify ANY action towards its attainment (greatest good, what Allah wants).

They both have extreme factions (OSA - Jihadist groups) that are authorized any action which hurts the enemy and forwards or protects the main group.

They both have the "if you're not with us you're an enemy" mentality.

They both believe in an afterlife that will be awesome as long as you do the bidding of the leader.

And if you don't "submit" both groups would rather have you dead than incapable (capable meaning seriously doing the bidding of the leaders and sacrificing to expand the group by any means necessary

I'm seeing increasing numbers of reports about NoI and mainstream Islamic jihadis developing ties. The jihadis have financial backers, but limited ability to move seamlessly in American society. NoI has limited finance, but the ability to have members operate anywhere.

Most of this is true, or has been true, of Christianity and at least two other world religions. They have in common the belief that their interpretation of an obscure text is the only true one.

Yes. But there is a big difference in the number, severity, and frequency of the extremist actions of the fanatics, as has been seen in France, Belgium, the U.S., and even in Muslim countries. All over the world in fact.

I can't agree that other religions are "just as bad as" Islam so we shouldn't single it out or criticize the ideology.

The tendency towards fanaticism/extremism is in its DNA.

Has the NoI/CofS decided what happens to you when you die? It's either an implant station or a paradise with hot and cold running virgins. It can't be both now can it?

Scientology has always seemed to want to limit how far they would go, thus their reliance upon attorneys and gang stalking. They still desire positive public opinion and try to avoid flaps. I can see how they might be interested in establishing a strategic working relationship with a group that had less regard for such limiting sensibilities.

For NOI's part, they may view this as a way to tap into all that money, celebrity, power, sophisticated organization and international presence.

I can easily envision NOI infiltrating Scientology but I have a difficult time envisioning Scientologists infiltrating NOI. As long as Scientology's proselytizing relies upon indoctrinating innocent well intentioned people whose moral orientation must be realigned to compromise with the Church's then it would probably be much harder to get them to take it the additional step further to compromise to NOI's standards, but not visa versa.

I'm reminded of stories like Saddam Hussein where the guy who gains control of the security apparatus ends up as top dog. In this match the corgis lose.

So what did people do when those three religions pulled that crap?

I look more at current-day actions than what an ancient book says, whether it's Christianity, Judaism or Islam .

How many Christians will kill you if you insult their religion or make a joke about Jesus?
How many other religions are taught to kill infidels or people who renounce their religion?
How many others will kill a woman (even their own sister) who got raped?

OK, some Christians might want to kill gays, but the incidence of it actually happening is pretty rare.

The above activities are common in countries where Islam has taken over.

Baton Rouge Shooter Gavin Eugene Long Was Nation Of Islam Member, Railed Against ‘Crackers’ On YouTube Channel [VIDEO]

A Youtube account operated by Gavin Eugene Long and discovered by The Daily Caller reveals key insight into what might have motivated the 29-year-old black man who killed three Baton Rouge police officers Sunday morning.

Videos on Long’s account show that he was a former Nation of Islam member. He also ranted against “crackers” and made references to Alton Sterling, the black man killed by police in Baton Rouge on July 5.
