Scientology OSA frightened in South Africa.

Tony Ortega http://tonyortega.org/2015/06/18/sc...kes-apart-the-fictions-of-the-ias/#more-23407 has posted a link to an interesting article by Erin Conway-Smith about a house that Hubbard lived in, in SA.
http://www.globalpost.com/article/6...rds-johannesburg-mansion-where-scientologys-e.

Not exactly the "safe pointing" that scientology OSA wants to see in the newspapers and then spread around on the internet. :)

It's worth reading the article, and I want to just make a point about the last paragraph: Scientology OSA should be applying Ron's promotion and PR safepointing tech, especially since it is about Ron's personal Imaarge. But they seem to be too frightened. They don't want to open the house to the public yet.
Scared to promote?

"...The Zimbabwe house where Hubbard lived has been bought by the Church of Scientology but is not yet open for visitors. “We are waiting for more stable times,” Dubois said."

LOL. That's gonna be quite a wait.

My bet, it opens after there is peace in the middle east.

Zimbabwe is actually very unstable and dangerous right now, so they have a valid excuse. More troubling is the attempted recreation of LRH as a SJW. I guess the next we will hear that LRH was the first champion of gay marriage.

The house is in Johannesburg, not Zim.

The rewriting of Hubbard's history is awesome. Who knew the bastard was so benevolent. I hear he also rescued herds of baby unicorns from blood thirsty zebras. One of which ended up a a carpet to remind visitors of Hub's heroism.

I'm interested in what requires more stable times? South Africa or Scientology? Either way, right now is as good as it gets, might as well open those doors.

Hubbard's African Adventures were so...so....Hubbardarian, that opening up a house monument in the general region seems like planting a big Entheta magnet.

Next step? Get Jack Parson's house all tarted up as a monument to Hubbard.

Thanks, I am aware of the location of the house that is now a museum. I was referring to the bolded extract about Zimbabawe.

The article states that they also bought the house Hubbard lived in while in Zimbabwe. The quoted Scientologist notes that they plan on doing the same with the house Hubbard lived in while in Zimbabwe, but are waiting for the right conditions.
