Scientology and Disconnection: "No One's Going to Take My Eternity Away:

For those of you still confused about Scientology or its effects on families, please watch this short video carefully. I don't think I've ever seen the church's cruel policy of "disconnection" explained so well or with such impact.

Destruction is what scientology is about.
This is scientology doing what scientology does.

A psychopath started it.
A psychopath wrote it.
A psychopath formed an organiztion to be psychopaths like him.
Public people were brought in and trained to be psychopaths.
And, now, they are behaving like psychopaths?
Who'd have guess that!

How much more humanity will these psycopaths be allowed to destroy under the guise of "religion"?

Usually my dislike of much of scientology, its principles and policies, simmers at a low boil on the back burner. But this story got the flame going again. It's outrageous that a "church" could continue to practice beliefs and policies that have such a devastating effect on families. Shame on you, CoS.

What is agonizing is what doesn't fit into a neat little interview. The plain truth is gross enough but it's like a wierd rape by consent. Disconnection is so gruesome! Does anyone ever clay demo disconnection? Howsabout runnin four flows on that?

I knew Lori and her mom back at Stevens Creek way back in the late 70's. Just some really wonderful people that only reinforces how sickening Hubbards tech and the application of it that he fostered and allowed to develop into. Lori was this cute15 year old with always a smile for everyone. I also knew her ex and while he was a decent guy he is so sucked into this mindfuck he truly beleives he is fighting for his eternity and will do anything to preserve it. Wake up Jim! Look around you and tell me what you see. You saw the Creek in its heyday, its a ghost town now. The "expansion" is not happening elsewhere! YOU ARE BEING DECEIVED. Why are so many longtime members leaving? Stop for a moment and THINK FOR YOURSELF!

I'm not generally in favour of creating new laws, but 'disconnection' should be illegal, whether it's a 'religious' practice, or not. Mormons had to give up polygamy whether they liked it or not, so there is a precedent.

Scientology is sadistic.

Disconnection? No worries.

WOG
How about it Scientology? What do you have to
say about a weeping mom whose life and family
was destroyed by a remorseless Ron Hubbard?

SCIENTOLOGIST
Oh no, Ron would never do that. Ron was super theta.

WOG
Here is the disconnection policy Ron wrote. Read it.

SCIENTOLOGIST
No, no, no. Ron canceled that policy.

WOG
Then why do Scientologists still follow it?

SCIENTOLOGIST
Oh. They do?

WOG
Yes.

[STRIKE]SCIENTOLOGIST[/STRIKE] INDIE SCIENTOLOGIST
Okay, I fixed it. No worries.

WOG
You are an Indie Scientologist now?

[STRIKE]SCIENTOLOGIST[/STRIKE] INDIE SCIENTOLOGIST
Yes. I am against David Miscavich's disconnection policy.

Re: Scientology Successful in Destroying Another Family - Disconnection is Alive and

As soon as a person becomes a scientologist they are a heartbeat away from disconnection from their previously loved families and friends, it doesn't even have to be made official because it is intrinsic within the cult.

Disconnection is always there skulking just below the surface, both as a threat and as a reality for those that dare to make even the smallest of waves.

As soon as a person becomes a scientologist they are lost to their loved ones until they get out and (hopefully) rebuild the damage done to relationships.

It is very sad.

It's unenforceable and in the u.s. would be unconstitutional. The right to free assembly implies the right to choose one's associates.

Which is what the cult denies its members.

True enough, but I meant the forcing of another person to disconnect.

Understood, but as I said it's unenforceable and unconstitutional.

Freedom of association also implies the right of groups to determine their own membership and the status accorded to members within the group. Members are free to choose concerning their own compliance with and continuing membership in the group.

Re: Scientology Successful in Destroying Another Family - Disconnection is Alive and

Hubbard logic, Disconnection = Connection. Disconnection holds the cult
together. How many of the few remaining cult members are held in bondage
not out of love for the group but rather for love of mother, father, brother,
sister, son, daughter etc. The threat that if they dare to escape, they will never see their loved ones again. How many are kept "in" by just this threat; 10%?
20%? 30%? More? Disconnection is the glue keeping the whole structure
from coming apart at the seams. Disconnection is Connection as far as Scientology
is concerned.

Scientology indeed IS disconnection. Disconnection from Reason. Disconnection
from your mind. Disconnection from the everyday world of work, home, finances,
family. Disconnection from your body. Bottom line; Scientology is Death.
