Scientology's Ecclesiastical Leader David Miscavige's LAVISH LIFESTYLE ~ Inurement!

Re: Scientology's Ecclesiastical Leader David Miscavige's LAVISH LIFESTYLE ~ Inuremen

It sure would be interesting to see DM's tax returns.
If the Sea Org essentially requires a vow of poverty and he's pulling in several million a year even if they're called bonuses, commissions, etc, I would think that would raise red flags with the IRS.

I don't think so. He's got the best attorneys on all continents and I am sure It is all figured out in such a way that expenses are accountable for. Since he has slave labour, there wouldn't be any bills for custom bikes and a lot of his fees would easily be disguised under representation fees, PR, etc. that benefit RTC or what ever and not him personally. That is the advantage of having billions. An honest charitable, philanthropic guy wouldn't get that far. I don't think his tax returns are on any interest. These people are warped beyond imagination so they pay the best legal teams to figure it out. Luckily enough, Miscavige like Hitler in his Bunker wants to have a grip on each single move and that's when Scientology Inc goes down.

Shit.. the IRS can't even police themselves...

"The IRS paid a total of about $1.1 million in bonuses over about two years to more than 1,100 employees who had been disciplined for failing to pay their own taxes, according to an inspector general's report.

Those employees also received awards of more than 10,000 hours of extra time off and 69 faster-than-normal pay grade increases. They were among more than 2,800 IRS employees during that period who got performance awards within one year of disciplinary action, such as suspensions or written reprimands, the report found.

This is bad news for the Internal Revenue Service's image, "which already has taken some very serious hits over the past couple of years,” said Pete Sepp, executive vice president of National Taxpayers Union.

It wasn't illegal, though, says the IRS. Asshats.

It is worse than this...

In the 90's does anyone recall hearing about an exhorbitantly expensive new computer system for the IRS that did not work?

What never appeared in the articles that I recall reading about this at the time was this factoid... the company that designed
and supplied this new computer system for the US internal Revenue service was owned by the wife of the Commissioner!

I know you're determined to be right, but how much do you want to wager that the IRS won't take any aggressive action against the COS in the next 20 years?

The IRS burned itself when it acquiesced to Miscavige's demands & legal threats in 1993.

that's too funny. The world is "What you can get away with"

Which is straight from Hubbards mouth on how to deal with the IRS. He said assign the significance before the IRS does. In other words say so and so is a business expense because of so and so.

Which is true. :omg:

But what is also true, is that Hubbard did the same thing to the auditing. He assigned significance to each auditing level. Do this many rundowns and you are Grade 0 release, attest here. LOL

All of Hubbard's EP's are assigning significance. Shoot, the whole Bridge to Total Freedom is one big significance.

It's evaluation and not based on any truth. :hysterical:

I could be wrong, but it seems to me one of the biggest obstacles to IRS action against COS is the existence of the Roman Catholic Church. The RCC comprehends monastic orders that take actual vows of poverty, Catholic clergy are certainly bound by restrictions (celibacy) that are not governed by the FLSA, and Catholic bishops and cardinals, not to mention the Pope himself appear to enjoy fairly lavish accommodations by any standard.

Case in point: Archbishop Wilton Gregory:

What is particularly disappointing in Gregory's case is that early in this century he rather distinguished himself in the clergy sex abuse scandal by stating (in so many words): "We should concern ourselves with the harm done to the victims, and stop worrying about the image of the church."

I googled David Miscavige and this is 5 seconds of information available on the "ecclesiastical leader" that popped up immediately. There is tons more. Now doesn't L Ron Hubbard say - If it is not in writing it is not true? It is in writing and all writings say the same thing about Captain Miscavige!

Yank the tax exempt status from the Church of Scientology - IRS! Please - do it now! It is just the right thing to do!!:happydance::wink2:

i'm sure that mansion (DM's home?) is church property. and non-profits are certainly allowed assets

but what i'm curious about is having read that DM owns a mortgage company which handles CoS mortgages and this is his big source of personal income

anyone know anything about this?

Not true that I'm aware of. All of the Scientology buildings in Los Angeles & at Gold Base fall under the umbrella of Building Management Services, a non-profit organization.

There are numerous Scilons that own or work in mortgage loan & title companies, but they're not owned by the COS.

LOL. Not true. Ronnie has been a real estate broker in Williamsburg, Virginia for years & his wife, Bitty (Jenna's mom) works with him. Ronnie, Bitty & Jenna are no longer involved, whatsoever, with the cult. When Mike Rinder blew, he immediately landed a short-term apartment in Williamsburg with the assistance of Ronnie.

That looks like him....minus a bit of hair.

What really pisses me off is guys like him, that were high up in the SO and running the cult....

So he's "out"? Well FUCK HIM

Its guys like him that should be helping stop the cult.....
You can't tell me he doesn't know where some bodies are buried.

I don't like the guy Smurf. I was sitting in the Shrine Auditorium when David Miscavige introduced him as being promoted to some high muckity muck position in the hierarchy ruling structure of scientology......and trotted him out on stage. He looked and acted soooo embarassed. Plus obvious nepotism.

Plus I have a personal axe to grind with him and his brother.
FUCK HIM!

AND Fuck Mike Rindner and Marty Rathbun....and all the guys that were at the top of the heap and ran the cult and same for those that are running it today.
