More tears on watching the whole programme. Thank you Carmen and Pheobe for your courage and tenacity in trying to right this evil. You have provided undeniable testimony of what we know goes on. It is still a heart rending shock to see it. I do hope you both feel some peace after coming forward with the truth. I hope also that Jan Eastgate and scientology are brought to account for this particular crime, and the many others.

I really can't see them getting out of this. Denial after denial in the face of all this documentation just won't stand up.

Send them links or copies of the videos and tell them that us Aussies are happy to share information.
It should be much easier in the US because there are many more Scios and the abuse was far more rampant there. Much of it is already documented.

Me neither.

I thought that the odd things I saw or knew of or experienced were isolated incidents, the exception as opposed to the rule, and attributed much to a couple of people who ruled the roost in ANZO.

Since I've been working with exes in the last couple of years, I've discovered so much that was going on right under my nose, but never saw it or knew of it. I only discovered what it was really like for the kids in the cadet org eighteen months ago, and only discovered what really went down with this particular child abuse cover up, in the last month.

I may seem cold and callous in some of my responses on these threads (or lacking empathy or something), but that is not the case. Every time I get some new info about how disgusting and/or bad it was/is (like the recent info on what happened with Carmen a few weeks back now), it hits like a ton of bricks and it never ceases to amaze me how foul it all was when I was part of it and supporting Scientology. But then though, helping to expose it, and seeing it being exposed in the hope and belief that things WILL change and that the harm will stop, is something that I then get pretty happy about.

I usually express my sentiments personally to the people involved, and prior to anything being posted about these things here on this board, and/or prior to the interviews being aired.....By the time it's 'out' I've usually moved on, and I believe it's a good thing that I can and do. If I couldn't, and others working with this stuff couldn't and didn't, then we wouldn't be having all this stuff coming out in the first place (here in Australia or anywhere else).

Anyways trouble, back to what you posted - I'm with ya on this, but at the same time I'm so glad that it's all getting out in the wider public arena, and in the volume that it now is.

Yes Carmel ... it is very good that this is now coming out (for a myriad of reasons) and BTW you come across as a professional but with added empathy due to your actual involvement (and it may not be the right place to mention this and I am sure you will hate me telling you, but you looked and sounded beautiful in the video).

....and why was it so vital for the Church of Scientology to cover up the sexual assaults of a young girl?

ANSWER: Because if the criminal was prosecuted, there MIGHT be some possibility that the newspapers would use the word "Scientology" in their stories.

And then Scientology might have it's false image damaged.

It might have its lies about being against human rights abuses exposed.

REAL ANSWER: In fact, it might lose some money from people who associated Scientology with sexual abuse.

What are the two only choices?

1) STOP A SEXUAL PREDATOR FROM RAPING OR ASSAULTING SMALL GIRLS? PROSECUTE HIM AND TAKE HIM OFF THE STREET TO SAVE MORE INNOCENT YOUNG VICTIMS FROM HAVING THEIR LIVES RUINED.

2) HIDE THE SEXUAL PREDATOR FROM POLICE SO SCIENTOLOGY CAN MAKE MORE MONEY.


This is an easy choice for Scientology.

They pick #2 every time without hesitation or "com lag". A Scientologist knows what to do to Keep Scientology Working.

Stop.....and consider for just 5 seconds the hideous immorality of an organization that would ALLOW a sexual predator to be free to assault other young girls?

The level of evil that Scientology has to answer to is more than sufficient to demand its destruction.

Anyone who believes the battle is against the CHURCH of Scientology and not Scientology itself, has not understood Scientology.

This may not be popular to say but if you are a Scientologist you believe in the "GREATEST GOOD" and that is the open door that allows the icy amorality and atrocities to take root.

Heartfelt thanks to Carmen and the girls mum and the girl for coming forward. I cannot praise your courage enough. You all came across so clearly and beautifully.

New lives have begun because of that broadcast. Thanks again!
