ANSWER: Because if the criminal was prosecuted, there MIGHT be some possibility that the newspapers would use the word "Scientology" in their stories.

And then Scientology might have it's false image damaged.

It might have its lies about being against human rights abuses exposed.

REAL ANSWER: In fact, it might lose some money from people who associated Scientology with sexual abuse.

What are the two only choices?

1) STOP A SEXUAL PREDATOR FROM RAPING OR ASSAULTING SMALL GIRLS? PROSECUTE HIM AND TAKE HIM OFF THE STREET TO SAVE MORE INNOCENT YOUNG VICTIMS FROM HAVING THEIR LIVES RUINED.

2) HIDE THE SEXUAL PREDATOR FROM POLICE SO SCIENTOLOGY CAN MAKE MORE MONEY.


This is an easy choice for Scientology.

They pick #2 every time without hesitation or "com lag". A Scientologist knows what to do to Keep Scientology Working.

Stop.....and consider for just 5 seconds the hideous immorality of an organization that would ALLOW a sexual predator to be free to assault other young girls?

The level of evil that Scientology has to answer to more than sufficient to demand its destruction.

Anyone who believes the battle is against the CHURCH of Scientology and not Scientology itself, has not understood Scientology.

This may not be popular to say but if you are a Scientologist you believe in the "GREATEST GOOD" and that is the open door that allows the icy amorality and atrocities to take root.

That was a great post HH! - But I'll put in here that 'The GREATEST GOOD' that scientologists believe in is the surreptitiously amended, by Hubbard, version of it. The GREATEST GOOD for Scientology, as a business enterprize and nothing else.

It's not that I admire the whole convoluted and arduous concept of the eight dynamics.. But the 1'st, 2'nd dynamics are routinely ignored or bulldozed out of the way as per policy in the cult. Scientology itself is a 3'rd dynamic.. The rest of the dynamics are simply forgotten about.

I've just been going over some of the forums that have been posted about this story and I have a bit of a concern that I would like to voice....

I REALLY REALLY want all of this to go right and my concern is that some of the infomation is being "missquoted" which could (hopefully not) compromise the result and I would hate for that to happen.

In some of the info I have read, there is now reference to the 11-Yr-Old girl being "raped repeatedly" by her stepfather, having watched the interview again and read more I can honestly say this is not the case, it was Amy that was "raped" at age 14, the 11yr old was molested (which by the way, I am in no way minimising, because it's just as bad) BUT I just don't want anything to come back at any of us who are trying to erradicate this horrible "cult" and give them any ammunition so they can say we don't have our FACTS straight....

I certainly don't want to step on anyone's toes, but for personal reasons (those of you who know who I am will hopefully understand) as well as for the planet I want this thing to go through without a hitch...

So there you go, this is some of my 2 cents worth.......I hope you understand where I'm coming from

Thanks for clarifying. You are so right. It is critical to keep things on a factual basis. Being sloppy with the facts can be used to discredit the argument. Kudos for keeping things clear.
