If I were you I would locking away all sharp knives ... keeping the cat out of high places (that includes trees obviously) and removing the laces from any shoes or boots that happen to be laying around the place.

If you happen to see it mincing sneakily towards a power point with it's little paw extended ... well, you know what to do.

Drugs and alcohol won't be an issue at your place but watch it doesn't pop next door ... I have heard she has plenty in there!

Also, you do need to try and keep it very calm perhaps by boring it to death, by constantly playing your hubbard tapes (ooops sorry, that was a bit tactless) in it's immediate vicinity.

One last thing ... don't let yourself sleep until puss is fully recovered (or heaven forbid, gone to meet it's maker) ... they are sneaky when they are in a phase like this and it may tip whats left of the snail bait (I assume that is what it took?) down your neck while you are dozing with your gob wide open ... and you don't want that.
