I haven't read it...I have tried to stay away from reading anything about 'scien' I would get re-stimulated and nervous (and paranoid).

Totally understand. Parts of her story were very difficult for me to read. But I feel it's an important book to read as she worked directly under Hubbard and is a firsthand account of how he treated people around him, or how he treated Nancy anyways, who worked in International Management directly under Hubbard.

Sometimes when I was a child and the my dog was so comforting and seemingly my only friend. I love dogs. I think many of them are compassionate and healing.....and full of love......more so than a lot of humans.

Hard for me to read at times, because it brings back so much.
Especially the shell-shocked feeling one gets when one
realizes what has happened after the fact, when dealing with

So since this is my thread and I can do anything I want with it. I have a question.

I have this completely irrational fear that after this life I will be on my way to whatever happens next and suddenly be told "ah, ah, ah you can't go there you signed up for a billion years in hell"....Mwahh, ahh, ahh. :shock::shock::shark:

Anyone else ever think about this?

Don't worry. Even without the "billion years" bit the Sea Org agreement doesn't meet the legal standards for a contract.

If the devil exists I'm sure he's got a better legal department than Scientology.

Nah.....It's a phoney agreement. It was also done without full disclosure of what you were signing up for. It was dreamed up by a narcisistic old fool who also dreamed up an imaginary bridge. Have you read LRH's affirmations that he made prior to Dianetics and Scientology? The CoS was LRH's ticket to the wealth, power and control of others that he was after.

Sure I thought about it. But not for long.

To me the whole billion year thing is designed to overwhelm you - to make it a concept you can't really understand. A BILLION years is too big and you are only a tiny speck...so you had better do what you are told.

For a while I thought "if I got this wrong, well I'll handle it next life and enjoy this one meantime!". The more I unravelled the lies, the clearer it all became and understanding that the only important time is NOW is the key...

Scno/co$ IS the devil. And as SpecFrog said, not legally binding. Besides, just in case, you have repented. Gees, forgive yourself. You made a mistake, under pressure, after being ambushed. You did good - leaving, getting away, moving.
