It's not at all clear to me that that is what happened. Go back and watch the video again. For one thing, it was not the ED, but the black guy walking with her that uttered it.

Scientology staff have been briefed (however inaccurately and unfairly it may be) on the origins and nature of Anonymous. They would have been told of the lolita photos or child porn that are or were a part of the original Anonymous/Chan. culture.

"I've heard they are child molesters!" would be a point hammered (at briefings) into the head of staffers at Orgs. such as this.

The black guy says: "I've heard some of these guys are child molestors."
It seems to me if they were specifically trying to DA AnonSparrow as a sexual deviant they would have said something like: "There's that creepy child molester, Joe Blow... we know what his crimes are!"
Or maybe something like: "I've heard he is a child molestor."

It didn't come across to me like he was specifically referring to a PC folder. They were just getting in a dig at him, based on "boogy-man" stories they've been told.

I think AnonSparrow over-reacted. And it might even be able to be framed by OSA as an Anonymouse/AnonSparrow footbullet!
It could be construed and shown to staff as video evidence of an Anon. readily confessing to sexual "crimes." AnonSparrow jumps right in and refers to the fact that there is something sexually controversial in his folder ...but not child molestation. Not a well thought thru reaction to what was just a dig by some Org. staffers.

Does Scientology misuse PC folder material? Of course it does. But this video is not at all evidence of it, IMO.

And/but this all takes nothing away from the outstanding, HIGHLY effective picketing AnonSparrow is doing out there.

OSA's tactic is using 'innuendo', in order that there will be no 'specific' proof. Like they did with the pre-clear who had an incident with a sheep, which he confessed. Then when he began protesting, OSA used innuendo when they said, "Baaaaa" to him, and laughed in his face. The former pre-clear was almost certain that OSA had abused their power, and culled his 'confidential' confessional folder, but you can't 'prove' it.

If I recall correctly.. The allegations about Anonymous being child molesters was in the flyers that CoS made already in march '08.. I don't think that was a reference to Anon Sparrows PC folders either.

In a court of law, the video is useless, and no lawyer would ever let it get to court, because it's not provable.

However, in the court of public opinion, showing video of OSA's 'innuendo' tactic is extremely useful. The more accounts like this, the more people will believe that OSA is filthy.

Yes OSA does it on purpose, but it's a two edge sword. On one hand scientology's threats will bludgeon existing scientologists into fear of speaking out. But on the other hand, Internet videos like this, will deter people away from scientology. Who can really trust scientology? The more examples, the more people will believe it, and the more useful it becomes.

I once watched video of Bob Minton, he questioned the stories of people being harassed by scientology -- after all, they were not proovable. Then one day two men followed his children. But what really drove it home, was watching videos of former Guardian's Office (GO) Op Patty Pieniadz, and watching Frank Oliver admit he was involved in, "finding people's weak spots, and exploiting them." Enough of these accounts made it believable.

In my opinion, Sparrow and Minton do 'not' come across as, "paranoid and delusional idiots". The more people who tell their accounts, the more credible it will be. But there will always be somebody who calls them paranoid, because there's no proof, and say it's useless, so they should shut-up. OSA is counting on people not speaking out about their 'innuendo' and 'gaslighting'.

AnonOrange I agree, if scientologists won't go to the Internet, how about taking the Internet to them. Such as pictures or video of the kid in the Dallas, Texas confessional folder room, or when Sparrow played audio of scientology spokesperson Tommy Davis's voice when he blew a gasket, and when he showed staff pictures of the Int Gold fence with spikes pointing inward.
