Exteriorization as an auditing goal was abandoned in the 50's. Per the 'old' grade chart, the 'old' OT 4, 5 and 6 were processes done while ext. On 'old' OT6 you had to get some one from a foriegn land to send you a post card.
I have talked to a few who did it successfully. It is beyond the ken of most, and the NOTs case had to be handled first anyway for the majority of people.
The thing about exterior with ability to postualte and percieve is that it is "no game condition". There is nothing you can't postulate or percieve...what amazes me is how many of those postulates and perceptions have to do with bedrooms, rather than board rooms.
Is a million dollars from the Randi Foundation a "no-game condition"?

I've gone exterior with full perception and moved a good distance from the body too. It felt like I was spilling. There was no color! Everything seemed to be in shades of black and white and/or shadows. I missed the body right away, it was a drop in havingness. I like having a life !
I've had some perceptions for a long time that I've noticed other people do not have. Some of them I had long before Scientology, some of them were a result of Hubbard getting me to notice things I hadn't notice before by reading his books.
I can tell when people are about even if I do not see them. I've been able to hear animals talk since I was about seven. A few times I have been able to see through other people's eyes even if they are some distance from me.
One important thing I would like to pass on, is that I am aware there are always people on a higher plane of understanding than I. When I get through one climb of altitude, I don't linger on a cloud to speculate, critisize, muse, or hang with elders of that cloud to become the effect of the mist floating around. I seek out my next guide and get going on the next climb. I accept the help I have been given with graditude and I rely on my guides with trust and keep my respect and sincerity in as a student.
Not that there are not tricky "guides" out there, there are.
But you are already in a dimension where you know there is more available. More lessons, more adventures. It can be found in many different forms of research into the supernatural or regular self help books.
You can see for yourself the people who spend nothing towards self improvment in terms of time and dedication, begin to decay and rot.
Nothing stays the same. It's simple physics.
Things get better or worse, expand or contract.
My advice is to just focus on simple steps of self improvment, even if it is just taking a daily walk.
One of these days, you will be exterior with full perception, because you will drop that body. So, you have an attainable goal.
The point is, when that happens, that you are not afraid to die. Because you will be whole enough to master what waits beyond the sky.
I finished audited nots today.
Scientology is still working for me.
But if it wasn't I would be doing something else for enlightenment.
There are many kinds of self improvment you can involve yourself in and many books available to increase your understanding of physics, the mind, yourself and others.
It just feels good to be happy and feel like you are investing in a better tomorrow and a better life for yourself.
If you start with simple gardients towards a goal, any goal, you will eventually get there.
There are many religions where people learn with the goal of being exterior, having full perception. The Tibet monks some of them, were able to leave the ground and fly. If you watch Asian theatre or film you will find the idea of flying around in your body is perfectly natural to them.
There is magick everywhere.

It is fun. I even ordered a bottle of absinthe on your fine recommendation. Haven't popped it yet, though.

Very astute observation, Roland.
If I recall correctly, Mayo was Hubbard's auditor for 8 years. It was the early 1980's when Mayo was declared. And so anystories that Hubbard told about himself being exterior, prior to say 1972, would have been bald-faced lies.
This, along with Hubbard's claims of being "blinded and crippled" at the end of WWII and cured by Dianetics, is proof that Hubbard routinely lied about the results of Dianetics and Scientology to sell it to the public.
And I don't mean "fudged" or "promoted".
I mean outright, bald-faced lied.
Who could continue to chase this guy's lies after coming to understand that?

Possibly this was my most embarrassing incident to do with LRH.
It occured on the Original Class VIII course, in Oct 1968.
We were docked in Corfu, a small Greek Island halfway between Greece and Italy.
Each night at 8.00 p.m. LRH gave a lecture.
We were in the main dining room which doubled as the lecture room. Behind LRH were the picture windows facing out to the docks across the way.
Thus there were an approx 300 of the upper level SO Staff and Class VIII students crammed into this room - facing Hubbard and Mary-Sue who sat alongside LRH - so except for LRH and MSH we all viewed the activities outside the windows.
Each night at around 8.30 pm there was a ferry from Corfu to Brindisi that would leave. It was very punctual. There was a lot of clanging and banging and the reving of engines and the ferry would come chugging past us - the sounds are probably still on the tapes.
Of course this pissed LRH off - he would turn and glare at the offending ferry boat.
Any way one night at the exact time there was the usual clanging and banging and the reving of engines the chugging past us noise.
LRH does not turn his head but stares straight us and proceeds to give us how he is exterior with full perceptics - and describes the ferry, etc. He was really puffed up with his ability to demonstrate his exterior with full perceptics.
The only problem was that night a tug boat towing a garbage scow was went past the windows.
We all witnessed it - the emperor was naked!!!
There was deathly silence in the room - the room went very solid. No one looked at another.
Later on only Fred Fairchild, Nev Chamberlin and I dare speak about it. But every staff member and future Class VIII were given a major withhold that night.

My personal opinion -and it's rank speculation on my part- is that sometimes he could do that stuff and sometimes he couldn't.
It has been my observation- observation not speculation- that "OT abilities" (or whatever one calls them. There're many names for the same thing) are real but most people do not stably and consistently have them.

I doubt if anyone can really grasp how utterly dangerous and psychotic the environment was during the 1968-69 period........the Original Class VIII course was right smack in the middle of that time.
I lived in London during the "blitz" - it was no where near as dangerous as those times......the force, charge, betrayal and psychic violence was horrendous.
LRH was screaming at people day in day out, your friends were betraying you, people you trusted became your enemy. People were being thrown overboard for the slightest infraction.
It was a brutal course delivered in the mood level of fury.....it set the standard for today.
That course broke so many, many people.
It violated ALL Codes.
It set Domination and Subjugation in place.
It made the darkside right.
It empowered the darkside.
Now that was some great PT force, charge and mass to confront!!!
Great 3rd dynamic bull-baiting.
Also a great course on how to survive with thousands of wrong items and wrong answers.
Through it all -the motto was: "Thou shalt not be a victim!"
Just pull out your correction lists and start locating and indicating.
