I just read the article in the National Inquirer.
Geeeze, these writers can almost rival organized scientology for twisting words. As you can see above, on the cover it says: "Katie Discovers TOM'S SECRET LIFE! THE GAY LIES EXPOSED Tom's shocking confession about MALE LOVERS & DRUG USE"
OK so you read the cover and think the article must be about Tom confessing his gay/drug past to Katie.
They devote two pages to this story. On page 11, are these two big color pics of Katie and Tom (like the pics on the cover) and Katie looks upset. It says on that page: "Tom's SHOCKING CONFESSION to Katie
Star reveals truth about DRUG USE AND GAY LIES"
So, again one might assume that Tom is "confessing" to Katie about his gay and drug past.
But in the article on page 10 it said that what Tom confessed to Katie was his anguish over what he called those incredible claims. Bottom line is that he told Katie they were lies.
I just write this to point out how twisted headlines can be and how much the National Enquire's writing style of misleading headlines makes me think of organized scientology and their countless misleading statements. Maybe it's Karma.
Oh well, if the National Enquire goes out of business it must be a comfort to those writers that they could work for Miscavige and keep their same writing styles. Oh wait...Miscavige doesnt really "pay" his copywriters.
I mean honestly, who cares really if Tom Cruise had a gay past or present, or took drugs earlier in life. No big deal at all either way.
But since he is such a spokesperson for an organization calling gays covertly hostile and suggesting they can be eliminated, it will be funny if it turns out he was in the closet.
