Super Power pushed back indefinitely!

What do you all think the odds are that Miscavige will use one of his few remaining bullets ... a general amnesty?

Apparently, according to Idle Morgue's sources, it is happenning. Now what we really need is to get enough dedicated SP's with enough revenge ideas to make sure that move backfires spectacularly.

Suggestions open.

Crap! So, this means I'm gonna get more phone calls AGAIN?

(BTW, I haven't received junk snail mail from ASHO, AOLA, IAS, for quite some time now. What's up with that?)

O/W writeups that go in a FOLDER so they have dirt on you so you can be be Fair-Gamed if you blow in the future "because you have O/W's". 'Round 'n 'Round it goes... :hamster:

Somebody once noted that session overts were not good blackmail material because they were hearsay written down by somebody else (the auditor). (This was before video being made, and presumably kept, of the sessions)

But O/W write-ups were confessions written by the person's own hand.

I don't know if there is practically much difference. Neither can be used in their raw form as "PR" fodder because even the Dwarf can see that publicly airing obvious confessional material won't fly. That it may be a "Not Auditing You" confessional is a nice point that won't mean anything except to a few insiders. Plus people being extensively sec-checked or "O/W write-upped" have been known to confess to false crimes for the same reason that people being tortured will confess to false crimes: to get the torture to stop. The cult does publish information that has come from sessions, like in a Freedom Mag, but the actual source (sessions or O/W write-ups) is disguised, I believe.

One use for such confessions, apart from berating a staff member in front of the entire staff at a meeting, is to prompt a legitimate investigation, legitimate in that information can be procured in such a manner that can be used. Illegally tapping someone's phone to find they plan to rob a bank isn't useful all on its own: catching them red-handed when they try to carry out the plan is.

-snip-

Tell that to the young woman who had a secret abortion while she was away at college and is sent the message that her Catholic parents and grand parents might just find out about it, if....

Or to the business man who cheated on his taxes years ago and had a management consultation, etc. with one of the Scientology Admin tech front groups, and receives a message that the IRS might just find out about it, if...

Many people who were involved in Scientology did Drug Rundowns, where every drug the person has used is listed...

And lots of stuff from Grade two, and Sec Checks...

If the person doesn't care, and doesn't care how others will react, and is willing to be truthful to others despite their possible dismay or shock (such as the shock of the Catholic parents and grandparents to hearing that their daughter/granddaughter had her child murdered - which is how they would see it), or doesn't care, and is willing to lie to others about whatever it is, then it likely won't have much effect - unless he/she finds himself/herself being investigated by some government agency because of an anonymous tip, etc. (Of course, even if the "investigation" results in nothing, the "fact" of the "investigation" could, then, be used in "PR.")

If the "tech is in," information such as this should never be used, directly, in "PR." Basically, it's "Intelligence," which was obtained covertly, in this case by way of the "suitable guise" of a "minister," or an "auditor," or "consultant," etc., so, if used, it would qualify as "Black Propaganda" and, again, "if tech is in," the source of "Black Propaganda" should always remain unknown.

Information, covertly obtained, can sometimes be used to obtain - "legally" - other information, and this other information can be used in "PR."

It doesn't always "work." Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

It's just another tacky aspect of the shady and gnarly visible/hidden http://www.forum.exscn.net/showthre...uot-Point-System-Document&p=392666#post392666 "applied philosophy of Scientology."

A(nother) possible "Why" for the cancellation.

On October 3, three days before the original event date for the Super Power celebration, there will be an evidentiary hearing in Tampa, a mini-trial, to present evidence in the church’s motion to disqualify Luis and Rocio Garcia’s attorneys. The witnesses include: Brian Culkin (former church member), Luis Garcia (Plaintiff), Rocio Garcia (Plaintiff), Marty Rathbun and Mike Rinder.

In other words, they'll all be in town that weekend, free to roam the city streets and sidewalks of Clearwater. Wherever they want, whenever they want. Some COS whales or VIPs attending the event could recognize or run into them. Flap city.

On top of that, weekend newspapers in all the corner boxes with possibly entheta headlines from the trial itself and other goings on. Maybe even reported on the local TV news stations . . . at 6 and 10. Can't be controlled or prevented.

Just too risky to release Super Power with these characters roaming around town that weekend.

Scary times. :nervous:

I heard the other day from a source, who got it from the local org ED that all org EDs and Snr C/Ss were ordered to flag, I gues from gat2. She also mentioned that people were there doing supa power preps, which include re-doing the purif and TRs/Objectives. My question is, when they finish redoing this crap for the umpteenth time, if SP is still not ready, will they just be sent home with a wink and smile, wondering if they've just been had? :duh:
