Somehow poor little Suri is not going to have the same experiences my kids did!! After all, mom and dad write lots of big checks so they're allowed to actually be a "mother and father" to that little thetan.

I for one am thankful for that.

The way the children of members of the Co$ are treated is often reprehensible. When a child is protected from fear & abuse it is a thing to be celebrated. Making a public spectacle of "privileged" children because of the special status accorded to their parents is as disgusting as the exploitation of the unprivileged.

Don't lose too much sleep over it. It's not nearly so bad. Ask the underpriviledged. Little Suri is well insulated with money and care that the underpriviledged do not have access to. Little Suri will be alright. Many underprivilideged will never be alright -especially the exploited ones so don't
insult them by comparing them with extremely priviledged children like Little Suri.

Before Suri's birth, I saw all kinds of shit about her on the web. Cartoons of alien babies, etc. So maybe rich kids don't have to be treated or spoken about with decency.

Fluff, I never saw that on this website and posting this stupid article was not a way for me to degrade a 3 year old.

quite simply, I posted it because Will Smith continually denies being a Scio. (he is a "student of all religions"-or a pantywaist dilettente as we would know him) yet obviously his school is Scio enough for Suri!!

THAT was my basic point. Not too sure why some people have such ruffled feathers about it.

PS. Her parents sold pictures of her posing with them as an infant so I guess they were the originators of the "public specticle"

Will isn't a scientologist, he says he isn't. Why would we not believe him?

The tech his school uses just happens to be LRH tech, because Will finds it useful. It is just happenstance that it is scn tech.

The Cruises are scientologists and so would want Scn tech for their children.

Will is Tom's friend and just happens to have a school that uses the Scn tech that Tom likes.

It's all just a string of unrelated coincidences. Only paranoid ex-members would see anything otherwise.



We should keep our paranoia to ourselves and let the freedom-intentioned ethical beings do the best for their children, outside the spotlight of public exposure. Whatever happens we must not use these innocent young people to forward our hateful paranoid agendas.

A boy I know was raised in the SO, was bullied by other SO children, he was unprotected by the freedom-loving HCO staff/parents. Decades later he has still not recovered. One child was locked in an old fridge by the son of the freedon-loving HCO staff member and almost died. The bully was not handled or corrected in any way in the SO environment. And he is now a senior Scientologist.

These children did not even have the potential protection of public scrutiny.

I knew a young man who died because he stopped his medication because of Hubbard's mad promises about illness. His mother got two lines publicity in the local paper. Her one little chance to say her son died because he believed Hubbard.

Whatever happens we must not use children to get the publicity that might protect them.

Hi,

I don't have any objection to your posting/creating this thread, per se. I was answering Degraded Being's comment (which wasn't evident because I didn't quote it. My bad.) because I think that sometimes, with some people, that there could be an anything goes attitude about CofS members, particularly wealthy ones and/or celebs. I felt that there's been some justification about some things that have been said about Suri here and there on the 'net. I think there's a bit of slippery slope factor there.

Lionheart, I have a sibling that signed over ALL kids to the SO!!!! When one of them was "allowed" to visit (they are promised 2 weeks per year-being minors but actually recieve 3 days every 2 years!!!!) I couldn't believe how thin this kid was!! I mentioned it to my sibling who replied "Yes I know-he/she looks so HEALTHY!!" WTF?????? (of course I was on strict "muzzle" orders so as not to cause any trouble for the poor kid)

I suppose the inmates of Auschwitz looked "healthy" too!! And this kid isn't even done growing yet!!!

Nothing "huffy" about it.

If you want to talk generally about the Co$'s adverse effects on kids while respecting individual children's privacy, I'm all for it. If you want to talk about your own kid's and what they have endured, you have that right as their parent.

However, making a public spectacle of the private lives of children without prior permission is despicable. The fact that it's a "celebrity" family or that some point a parent released public photographs of the child is hardly justification for open season on the child.

But hey baby, it's your karma!

I only ever had one comm cycle with that kid. It was in the front lobby at Stonelands. I don't remember the exact circumstances but he had a broom in his hand and was supposed to be sweeping the floor. He said to me, "Why do I have to sweep this? It only gets dusty again."

The point is St Hill/Stonelands in those days was not a safe environment for kids. But thanks for the corroberation that the incident did happen.

I don't know how kids are treated these days, but I don't suppose it has improved too much.

I wonder what will happen at Will's school as regards bullying? What would happen if the child of the ED or HAS or EO was bullying a child at the school?

If Suri is downstat will the child be given amends?

As well as being indoctrinated with LRH's tech what other fate awaits Tom's child?
