Sydneysiders, :welcome:

Don't be ashamed and bashful just 'cause you live in a grotty city filled with superficial people. :p :stickpoke:

There seems to be a lot of you here now.

Come and talk amongst yourselves...

:carryon:

Dart's observations are usually right on the money! This last one is no exception.
I've lived in both cities and they're more similar than different, apart from the obvious; cafes, restaurants, theaters, fashion, opera houses, bridges...
oh, wait a minute, we've already had this discussion.
Andrew, are you missing bull-baiting?
Sydneysiders are notoriously thick-skinned :D

Hmmn, there seems to be a bit of nattering and carping towards the obviously superior city of Melbourne. (It's true, Emma told me so.)

I suppose it is to be expected. Having an AO and large SO presence is bound to be bring the whole tone level of a city down. (Just look at LA!)

Maybe you Sydney people need to think of this thread like an AA therapy session.

Take ownership of your shame.

Hi my name is ___________ and not only was I a Scientlogist but I also live in Sydney...

Hi, Andrew, my name is Panda and not only was I a Scientlogist but I also live in Sydney.
Sydney is the place where Ex-Scientologists are working very hard to help others leave the cult with impunity.
Our stats on this are in Affluence and we're very proud of the efforts of several Sydneysiders for that stellar production.
We also like Melbournians very much and know they'll get busy on emulating our success! :coolwink:

I miss bullbaiting.

We had a nice bullbaiting thread going for a little bit but it's just not the same...

Though I do sincerely think there should be some good local chatter on here from Sydney people about their scene. Hopefully it might give lurkers something familiar to initiate contact to.

OMG, she was one of my BC pcs. And fellow HGC Auditor.

She was still there after I left. How do you know she has gone?

What about her husband, he was a recruiter for HCO.

Also Sydney, Yes I loved the place. The food, the people, the bars :)

The big city, first one I'd been in and I got caught by the Church there.

I was such a noob and knew nothing of ethics, no wonder I was thrown out of every where I went in Scio..

not a bad thing really :)

I was pretty young and we had some other young staffers there. Some fun guys and gals.

One day myself and a fellow staffer went to saint vinny and bought a tuxedo suit, like a James bond dinner suit. The normal staff just wore normal clothes in the org so I hope to priden the place up.

We walked into the Org one evening for muster and got howling hoots from the other staff. We must of looked stupid but f$ck it we also looked like a million dollars. Two young guys dressed for TTC duty in suits and tie. HA.

After the Org I would hit the town and chase the chicks..

Didn't last long though, it just didn't catch on :)
