Allright.. I'm gonna explain something about my rather offensive joke about Kirstie Alleys's expansive frame..I'm not really 'disliking' her personally. I don't know her, that's one thing. What I do know about her is her being a shill for the Sinister Scam Cult of Scientology. She's a combattant on the other side.. An OT no less!!A question often asked: How much is the scilon celebs shielded from 'reality' in the cult? - Does Kirstie know about the conditions in the Sea Org?Certainly, scilons in general don't know about any failures of the tech. They've all agreed to the 'brilliant' philosophical principle of not knowing about anything bad. Only good news and success is allowed in their minds.. In 'technical' terms that's called a 'Service Faximile'.. Any bad news is 'entheta' and a scientologist will banish such from his mind. There's a LOT of 'tech' and 'policy' in place to ensure that this Servics faximile works and maintains a 'theta environment'.Now, a 'Service Faximile' is a really bad piece of mental machinery.. Something that a Scientologist would usually not want in his mind at all!Are Service Faximiles onstructed by Hubbard exempted?
Interesting...
But, I think there is a mythology about celebs being "sheltered" from the truth. I have met Kirstie, been at her house, etc. I also have met many other celebs both in my early days as an auditor/CS or later still, as a professional myself in the arts.
I don't think there is anything special about the treatment they get in Scn that is different than the treatment any wealthy person or celeb gets when they travel thru life "first class" (hotels, restaurants, airlines, casinos, theme parks, DMV, etc.....). Businesses always try to give VIP treatment to persons of money or influence and Scn is no more or less than a business.
If anything, a VIP or Celebrity has abundantly MORE opportunities to learn the truth about anything they intend to know about. They have staff members, assistants, lawyers, accountants, advisors, managers, agents, business partners...and great deals of leisure time and finance to do whatever the hell they want. AND they are given great amounts of freedom and slack that a "normal" person is never afforded.
So, if Kirstie did not LIKE the way that Scientology is, she would not promote it.
Scientology is, by nature, a bullying, nasty, criminal, lying cult (as you well know). It is not hard for anyone (a celeb too) to look on the internet if they care about how they use their power and influence to sell products. Celebs understand "endorsements" and the value of their "brand" far better than Joe Ordinary.
And each parishioner (celebs too) have the personal experience of the tech not working. It is unavoidable.
Kirstie is a mad mess. Rather pathetic at this point in comparison to the heights of success and popularity she once enjoyed.
How hard would it be for her to read a book or a newspaper and say to herself, "Hey, I wonder if it's true that COB physically beats up Sea Org members?"
Tom Cruise recently went on record (thru his attorney) saying that he is "aware of" the allegations but "does not believe them".
This is nothing less than criminal negligence.
There is no special world they live. They drive to the org. They pick up the cans. They have televisions and radios and computers (internet). They have vast numbers of people around them that read about Scientology.
It takes a special kind of person to block all that out and continue to sell the virtues of a world-class con game.
Does she know? I think it is the wrong question.
Can she know if she wants to? I think that is the right question.
The answer is yes.
Same as everyone else on the planet.
If she wants to play stupid, then that's how the world will perceive her.
If she wants to push the miraculous life-changing powers of Clear and OT--but cannot even stop herself from simple gluttony, then she deserves to be the running cover-page joke on the Tabloids.
Life normally has a wonderfully effective way of administering humility to the needy, so Kirstie is not going undernourished in this respect.
