After the 1990 renovations of LA Org I personally saw protesters. My personal urge was to go out and talk to them. Hell, I was a scientologist. I had some Grade 0 under my belt! I could handle this! Would I get some big time kudos if I could recover *that* scientologist!!!
Yeah - then you get snagged by the Security Guard you didn't even know was there and they stop you from going over there by telling you that these people are "Type 3", "they are SP's who are spouting OT data- don't go near them", "they are dangerous because they are squirrels"

I think you make some interesting and compelling points with regards to AGP and his shenanigans. My personal viewpoint pretty much aligns with what you've articulated. When I made my previous post I had Ken Moxon and his cohorts in mind. It's very amusing and satisfying to see the tables turned; these professional bullies and six figure 'men of words' appear hopelessly incompetent and brainsick after a good AGP tongue-lashing.
Admittedly, it would be desirable if he would demonstrate a little more discretion and tact at times. He seemingly fails to discriminate between Scientologists who work in vastly different capacities, with different personalities, motivations, and pain thresholds. However, it would be foolish for anybody to think they could shame or coax him into different strategies. He chooses his own behaviors and lives with the consequences. Ultimately, it's foolish to needlessly disturb ourselves with something we can't control. We're only responsible for our own behaviors.
Yes, it's embarrassing for critics who want to be taken more seriously. His conduct can reinforce negative perceptions of the menacing and psychotic enemies of Scientology. However, in all fairness, members of Anonymous can constitute a source of embarrassment for other critics. For crying out loud, they wear Guy Fawkes masks, dance to loud music in the street, eat caek, and have their own idiosyncratic ways of acting and speaking. AGP could reasonably claim 'pot, kettle, black.' Many members of Anonymous are disrespectful and insensitive of Scientologists--it's just that 'lulz' are extracted using different methods.

I agree somewhat.. I'm aware that AGP is 'being funny'.. He's a funny guy and I too have lauged my ass askew over his antics.
Oh, and I have no objection to AGP's behavioral patterns if, and when, he's confronting Ken Moxon, or some other belligerent or hostile scilon..

AGP is creating an 'incident'.. By being provocative.. We've seen the scilons creating 'incidents' often! - It's tech, and it's not even scilon tech. More like activist tech, or marketing tech, or propaganda tech, all over the place since apes started to ambulating on their hind legs..
There's a reason and purpose for provoking incidents! (There should be anyway..) - Purpose is to make us look good and the enemy look bad. This to persuade unsuspecting bystanders (All over the world via the internet and media) to our side. It's a PR war..
In this instance we see the scilons anticipating AGP creating an 'incident'.. They send out a little scared looking woman.. They might even have 'drilled' her to act little and mousey. Or maybe she's like that all by herself.. No matter.. The Scilons got their 'product': An incident that makes AGP, and by dint us, look like the bad guys.

So.. AGP needs to consider how his goddamned 'incident' is gonna look! - He can't browbeat a little scared and unprovoking scientology woman! - It's a home goal dammit!

The guard in AGP's video is Trevor Simington, who personally, is a very nice guy that I've had many conversations with, albeit a 2nd generation SO whose parents have been dedicated to the Sea Org for years.
I find it sad that AGP badgers & demeans the guards who, if you really think about it, have been born into & raised in the cult mindfuck and knows nothing different. As some protesters have learned first-hand, when you treat them with basic respect & politeness, they often drop the guard they've been constantly drilled to, and will respond accordingly.
Yelling, chasing staff members & insulting them does absolutely nothing towards opening up a line of comm with active members and convincing them that those of us that truly care about them and their situation, are anyone but the dangerous, maniacal SPs they been told we are.
It's unfortunate that among the critics, there is a handful that thinks they are accomplishing something but ridiculing Scientologists for the pure enjoyment of it.

You delude yourself. Wearing a standard security guard uniform & carrying a cell phone hardly qualified as "swat-team ninja". The PAC guards aren't armed & don't carry batons like some security guards carry.
Being snotty & arrogant is a common trait with most Scientologists when they're on the defensive. I know a number of critics that would qualify as well.

This is about how it will look and sound on a video..
My argument is that (AGP) needs to respond intelligently to the situation, and the scientolgist, he confronts.. Ie. If a swat-team ninja security bicyclist is polite and unthreathening, then its counterproductive to be a bully, however funny.
On the other hand, if the swat-team ninja is an arrogant asshole, then AGP's usual methods will be just fine.
(I don't know why I explain this.. I think you understand already..)
