The Courage of Marty Rathbun and Mike Rinder

I agree with this. I'm an optimist. Marty plays his cards close to his chest. If he speaks to law enforcement, the first most of us will know about it is when arrests happen.

Thats also my viewpoint. Marty has been giving revelations re personal culpability in, lets say gradients. The latest, assuming I'm keeping up,
is his forward to Marc headleys book.

Note that Marty has the legal arms of OSA and assorted PIs on his ass no doubt looking at every comment he makes with bad intention.

I wonder who Marc headley will be calling as a witness in his trial, and especially when human trafficking is on the agenda and DM is deposed?

I can't be argumentative any more today. Something rather wonderful and unexpected just happened.

Bts2free-- I'm sorry you suffered in the cult. I did, too, but not as much as you must have. I am very sorry we got off on the wrong foot. I respect your speaking out.

Same to Helluvuhoax and every single other person on this board, any omission of names is not intentional.

Life is good!

I gotta go now before I drown everyone in maudlinness.:happydance: :happydance:

:happydance:

I am so pleased to hear that.

Life's good and so are all of you. Going through some real changes now and will post something in the very near future about anything not told to me in confidence. Happy to post about anything I'm free to talk about. Just gimme a little time to wrap my teeny tiny little mind around it... :coolwink:

Cyberhugs,

Another contradiction...

:woohoo: Well Claire, whatever is going on, I'm celebrating with you! :happydance: Yeah, Hurrah!

Seems like we are all having some good wins lately...Yippee!!!

I think it's the collective Theta and high-toned nature of us members here- and the good work of all the other Ex's, Indies, Freezoners, Anons, etc., supressive persons, degraded beings, MY ROSY BUTT!!! What a lot of hogwash- lurkers, come and join us, you'll love it here!

I love JustBill- :smoochy:

Here is a great essay by him on how Creativity is really treated in Scientology- contrary to what is promoted in the glossy PR...something that was apparent to me from the first and one big reason why I never really got "in".

http://askthescientologist.blogspot.com/2009/11/scientology-vs-creativity.html

Big hugs to JustBill and all the other wonderfully talented writers here (you know who you are! :) ), who have something worth saying that the world needs and wants to hear. Let your own unique voice come forth! Trust yourself!

Who needs merits?
I may be just a nobody, who's never been in this cult. but seriously, FlashGordon, what kind of crap is this? Rinder and Rathbun courageous? There are two guys who have committed serious crimes which you can lookup here on this board or even here in this thread. Two guys who, after committing these crimes, just laid back, kicked off their shoes and relaxed until the Statute of Limitations had expired. Two guys who ONLY admitted SOME of their crimes, and ONLY AFTER they could be sure that they were well after said Statute of limitations' expiration date. Now how courageous is that?

You do the crime, you do the time. That's how all reasonable justice systems, that I know of, work. Did MR&MR do any time? Not as far as I know. They just took a nap, kept their mouth shut for a while until it was safe to talk.

And now? Rathbun said he would make up for all the damage he has done. I ask you, the great supporter of the "courageous ones", How much does a destroyed family cost? How much does a destroyed life cost? A destroyed future? And while I'm at it, how much for an aborted child?

Honestly, not even the average coward would want to be compared to these two ... uh ... "beings", and you call them courageous? I would fall off my chair laughing, if it weren't so sad. There's nothing courageous in these two wimps. Nothing.

Mr.Nobody,

Your first mistake is thinking you're a nobody for never being in the cult. That makes you somebody imo. Somebody a lot smarter then I was!:p

Your second mistake is assuming our little flash is anything other than a troll. I am just as guilty as anyone else on this thread though. I fed him! It's sometimes irresistible. But I think it's probably time to start starving the little bugger.

He isn't even a funny troll. That's the worst part of it. He's just irritating.

Well we disagree on the cute part but I agree he's entitled to his opinion. Even trolls have opinions.:eyeroll:

What!? You don´t think he is cute, what is WRONG with you!!!

Sometimes comedy is a great relief. sometimes its a burden to relieve on others.

That's true. I just wish he'd relieve his burden elsewhere. But that would mean he'd be off irritating others who might not have as much tolerance as a lot of ESMBers.

I just like trolls that are actually clever and funny. It's an obsession of mine.:melodramatic:

Mr.Nobody,

Smarter? Uh.. I'd like that, but it's not necessarily so. It's just that 1. I received my "vaccine" 35 years ago, and it obviously worked, and 2. I live a quite secluded life, despite all the publicity I enjoy/have to endure every now and then. So far I've only met 1 (one) live scn'ist and thanks to my vaccination, I.... well let's just say that I made sure that my answer wouldn't create any MUs.

Irritating? I'm not sure about that. After all, he DID provoke a reaction from me, didn't he? Let's just hope that OSA doesn't withhold his well-deserved candy-bar. That would be very frustrating for him, after all his efforts and his hard work.

They get CANDYBARS??? Where do I sign up?:p

Thanks heavens for vaccinations then! That vaccination saved you a boatload of money, time and trouble.

My defination of irritating is like a gnat buzzing around in your face. Most people react to that sort of thing by swatting the gnat.

The vaccination, yes... Basically it was just a book that a protestant pastor recommended to lil' ole atheistic, skeptic me, and it was about "modern religions", cults, and the patterns and mechanisms they use. Probably the best 5 or so bucks that I've ever spent. I wonder who has the book now? Oh well, I just hope it serves it's current owner as well as it served me.

Oh, and about the candybars: If you're a good looking middle-aged female, them jus' let me say that I have candybars. Lots of them. And the famous original German Gummibears. Oh, and are you married, or attached or sumpthin'?

Well I was married the last time I spoke to my husband.:D I'm afraid I'm past the middle age thing but I've kept my looks! Freeze drying is a wonderful thing, isn't it?

I'm pretty sure we can find a good looking lady on this board to take you up on your offer. Resistance is Futile is too young to be middle aged but she is very good looking. Could you get past your age bigotry to date a younger woman? :confused2:
