Putting it simply many different things get lumped together as "scientology". Among those things are: a church, a cult mindset, a spiritual technology, administrative policies, several different organizations, pretty much everything that LRH wrote whether he was drunk or sober at the time, etc..
My comments were in regards whether the term "wog" is a part of the subject of the spiritual technology of scientology. "Wog" is not a technical term. It is a term of disparagement. Not all terms used by Hubbard were technical terms even IF he said so.
The use of that term was Hubbard's justification for his own prejudice. In this it bears similarity to other terms indicative of religious bigotry & hatred, but it has no actual value in describing, discussing, or delivering the actual spiritual technology of scientology.
The ability to differentiate is a key aspect of intelligence. All the more so when individuals casually confuse the uses & meanings of words due to a general distaste for affiliated subject matter.

If Scientologists aren't 'better' than 'Wogs', why does anyone need Scientology?

I think you're going to have to let this go. It is a Scientology word. It doesn't have to be technical for it to be Scientology. Scientologists are the only ones that use that word and it was made up by it's founder and used to help explain Scientology.:confused2:
Actually, although it was a popular word in the UK back in Ron's time, it's been generally discarded as being offensive. The only modern usage I can think of is in ANZO, where it's used for everyone from asians to blacks to even eastern-european immigrants.
It's never meant fondly

I started reading this because it looked like a promising, productive and upbeat discussion.
I saw it get BRILLIANTLY derailed. It was easy to see because I was not "in" it, I was catching up and read it straight through.
FWIW.If Alex and Pitbull are not trolls from osa they might as well be. They have all the earmarks of it, the twisted logic, artful lying, totally synthetic personalities as well as the ability to falsely reposition any perceived "enemy" of the cult.
Alex claimed he was "reverse audited"....a claim that he can't support other than to say Alan guessed he was Bill Yuade, a good guess if you ask me. So now, have I reversed audited him too by saying that? We'll see.
Alanzo likes to have osa trolls on the board, he sharpens his wit on them and was adamant in the prevention of their removal. I disagree, I feel that if ANY thread gets very productive then in they jump and neutralize it, often turning it into an distasteful argument, this thread is a good example and it lowers the general tone of ESMB IMHO.
I wanted to know about knowledgism and was disappointed about the last several pages. Seeing that the productivity of this thread has been irretrievably compromised I thought I would weigh in and say I would like to stop it happening in the future.
I put up with this sort of tactics and "PR" in the cult, I don't have to now.

Do they EAT? SLEEP? MASTURBATE

And we KNOW what they MUST NOT do!

Ya, a number of threads in the Independent Field category have been targeted.I started reading this because it looked like a promising, productive and upbeat discussion.

Alex made the same accusations of me about a week ago on chat. I guess we are "fair game".Alex claimed he was "reverse audited"....a claim that he can't support other than to say Alan guessed he was Bill Yuade, a good guess if you ask me. I don't know that it does that, but it is a demonstration of Fair Game in action.Alanzo likes to have osa trolls on the board, he sharpens his wit on them and was adamant in the prevention of their removal. Alan Walter is an awesome man.
He helped me enormously on my way out of Scientology. He worked with Hubbard. He was right there when it all went down with the mission networks & finance police. He is one of the few who really knows the whole story.
He is the founder of Knowledgism.
In the 7 years I have known Alan, and known about Knowledgism, he has never once tried to sell me anything, convince me of anything, been self important etc. All he has ever been is kind.
I adore the man.
Interesting that Veda is now promoting Knowledgism....which seems to be early scientology renamed....and run by a person who has a hard time staying out of LRH's valence.

For cryin' out loud. Every post gets derailed. People talk and say what they want. If you are only expecting to hear something agreeable all the time, then stay off the internet. There are no set rules of communication. If you think a thread is derailed then get it back on track; don't just whine that nobody is saying what you want to hear.
I comment on things I read. So do most posters. Get use to it. If you want to have a discussion about a certain topic, then discuss that certain topic. Others don't have to be silent in order for you to post.

Well, Alex seems to have got several of you fighting and arguing amongst yourselves, thereby loosing the theme of the thread.
Alex is, by his own admission, a Scientologist. Therefore he follows the dictates of that particular group.
Do you remember the Hubbard anecdote about the yapping dog?
If you are driving a car along the road and a yap dog comes out and barks at you, you do not stop the car to get out and kick the dog.
Simply consider Alex's actions as being those of the yap dog.![]()
Now, back to the thread.
The essential difference between Knowledgism and Scientology is that Knowledgism processes from the top down, while Scientology processes from the bottom up.
There. glad to have cleared that one up.
So let us continue with the theme of this thread.
