The worst thing Leah could do right now is get into a humongous slap fight with DM and the CO$. One understated bit of credibility at a time will solidify her reputation as a level-headed critic, until she is ready to open up with both barrels. Let the coming raft of lawsuits come to a head, and then any attacks on her as a bitter apostate will look even less credible.
There is plenty of time, and all the reason in the world to have a well-researched, fact-checked book, rather than a quick and easy shot.
I agree.
And a more fundamental issue....
Does she want to spend her life being "the celeb who fought COS"?
Or does she want to go on with her life and develop her career?
I know no one wants to hear this, but, IMO, she's done enough already.
If I were her, I would let it go, and work like hell to be very successful as an actress.
That's one thing I agree with that I remember from Scientology.
"The best way to fight suppression is to flourish and prosper."
If she fucks up and goes down at this point because she becomes too involved with fighting this fight, in perspective it will be "she started going downhill after she left the church".
Sorry to say this, but any involvement with Scientology, whether you are with it or against it, doesn't help you with success in life. I was thinking about this when I drove to work today.
Most people who have actually done well in the "wog world" after getting out don't put a whole lot of time into dealing with the issue one way or the other. They just drive back onto the life freeway and get into the fast lane.
Like I said. Not something most people want to hear.
