We're going to have a white Christmas in Texas. It's snowing now and the weather people say it's only going to get colder, which means the snow will actually stick. Yippee!!!!

Tonka went out in the snow and actually liked it. The flakes today are so far much smaller than a few weeks ago. I'll try to get a picture of Tonka with snow all over her black fur.

Here's my white Christmas. Not much snow, but snow, just the same.
Those marks in the snow are Tonka's steps to her wading pool. Which was still not frozen and really pissed her off. LOL!!!! She loves eating the ice out of her pool.

Here's Tonka's "Happy Butt". Because one or both of the kitties is hiding under the bed. LOL!!!

The last pic of Tonka is just her hanging out in the office with mommy and daddy. Wondering, hoping we'll do something exciting. Like go for a walk. LOL!!!

That's cool Kathy, we got lots of wind and rain  since we're East of the snow storms :bigcry:. It might ice overnight though cause the temp is dropping :nervous:. In my home state they got lots of snow. Tonka is soooo cute.

This is snow from 2008. Now this wouldn't been an awesome White Christmas. But it wasn't at Christmas.

It's 28 degrees right now and supposed to get colder.

Yes, Tonka is very cute. And very funny. I wish I could record her "talking" to us. She does this growl/gurgle in her throat when she's annoyed with us or wants something. So when we're not paying attention to her she "bitches" at us. She kept "saying" the same thing over and over this morning. So I finally said "can't you say anything else?". Her response was "arrrrrgh".

I nearly lost it laughing my ass off. LOL!!!!

:dieslaughing:, sounds like my daughters cat MoMo, he just talks away when he wants something. Of course my bf encourages him :grouch:

We encourage Tonka, too. When she's grumbling about something, we say "you are the most abused dog in the entire world". LOL!!!

A while ago, we were in the garage and she stuck her nose under the door (had it open about 4 inches for air flow) and I said to her "if you run away no one will love you and spoil you the way that I do". She ran over to me and gave me a look that said "I'll never fun away from you, mommy". It was too precious. I truly believe she understands most of what I say.

She responds to: "Ready?" - that means we're either leaving or we're going back in the house.
She understands: "that's an outside toy" and knows to drop whatever toy she has in her mouth while outside.
And she's really good at ignoring me, when she doesn't want to hear what I have to say. The other night, she actually turned her head away from me while I was telling her something she didn't want to hear. LOL!!!
She also responds to "medicine" and "vitamin". It's what I call different things that I put in her mouth. She'll run to the kitchen and sit to get her "medicine" or vitamin.

That's so cute. We had an American Eskimo, got him the year my youngest girl was born, he was a lot like Tonka is from what you've said. I miss him sooo much. Glad Tonka takes her meds and vitamins soo well :happydance:

I love how cats shake their heads to rid themselves of cognitive dissonance. It seems very human.
