    yeah...

    and her next words after that play well on this board too;

"I've seen their ways too often for my liking"

In recent years I've rubbed elbows with Paul Kantner, God rest his soul, and had several twelve and a half hour "OT" intensives for just one dollar

That sounds like a pinched nerve combined with wishful/deluded thinking @Terril.

Most people have experienced the former but scientologists are notoriously well known for the latter ... why scientologists get so excited about such trivia is possibly due to an undiagnosed mental health issue.

    No need to thank me.

    Hum....let's see..

Because Clay Pigeaon is not the same ID than Birdsong ???? Birdy has many names ??? :)

Birdy always makes me recall a Thich Nhat Hanh zen master poem:
Please call me by my true names...

    Here are some excerpts:

    Thich Nhat Hanh
Please Call Me by My True Names

Don't say that I will depart tomorrow—
even today I am still arriving.
Look deeply: every second I am arriving :p

to be a bud on a Spring branch,
to be a tiny bird, with still-fragile wings, :p
learning to sing in my new nest,

to be a caterpillar in the heart of a flower,
to be a jewel hiding itself in a stone.
    Thich Nhat Hanh
I still arrive, in order to laugh and to cry,
    to fear and to hope.
The rhythm of my heart is the birth and death
    of all that is alive.

    I am a mayfly metamorphosing
on the surface of the river.
    And I am the bird
that swoops down to swallow the mayfly.
I am a frog swimming happily
in the clear water of a pond. :)

    ...Snipped...

Please call me by my true names,
so I can hear all my cries and laughter at once,
so I can see that my joy and pain are one.
Please call me by my true names,
    so I can wake up
and the door of my heart
    could be left open,
    the door of compassion.
    Thich Nhat Hanh

    ;)

would even go so far as to say that this is obviously one of the very weird symptomatology of a pinched vagus nerve causing an unprecedented reflex increase in vagal tone going up and down..and down and up...from the bowel (spasm) to the brain (inflating spasm = brain flatulence)

No need to thank me for the free diagnosis
    :p

That poem is beautiful @lotus, I think you will also like this.

    :rose:

They Are Not Long - Ernest Dowson
Vitae summa brevis spem nos vetat incohare longam.

They are not long, the weeping and the laughter,
    Love and desire and hate;
I think they have no portion in us after
    We pass the gate.
They are not long, the days of wine and roses,
    Out of a misty dream
Our path emerges for a while, then closes
    Within a dream.

I can't think of any reason he would have died. . .

I mean, wasn't he just beautiful, poetic & young a moment ago?

I saw references (Wiki, news, et al) that he was supposedly 74. No way. Fake news!

I mean, I just saw Jefferson Airplane playing in an outdoor park, it couldn't have been more than a couple-few years ago. The article said that concert was in '69. That's impossible, that would have been like, um........like 48 years ago. Ridiculous!

Well, anyways, sending love out to Paul and all other great rock legends who departed.

1969...."Summer of Love" (or was it '68?)

I was a teenie in high school, and at the same time I first heard of and got into Scientology.

    "Winter of ARC" ensued.

I know many do not think it a good look here. Many
consider it is. This of course is up for debate. Play ground
humour is not worth debating or even considering.

Let me see the experimental scientific proof youcould control flows of static electricity around your body ....please share with us, so we can totally acknowledge and grant beingness to your gained ability upon completion of $cientology tech grade..I suppose you still have such abilities..(and you can make a video) otherwise..it would not be an ability, but a coincident usual, common, static phenomenon....Right ???? Look even the cat can do it and he never did any Hubtard grade.
