Reverse the flow. Every time someone phones it's a new person you can sell something to, even if it is just an idea you are selling, and they are paying for the call. Have some fun instead. :)

Hmmm. With this viewpoint, I may have to start answering my phone again.

Oh the irony! :melodramatic:

I'm trying desperately to complete a cycle with an org and despite letters ("What letters?"), e-mails ("We haven't received any emails") and phone messages, I can't get a return call. :duh:

Any solicitors in the UK need some business?

Huh? I'm sorry, there's a buzz in the line... did you say 'refund'? Excuse me, the org is going through a tunnel right now... Beep beep hissss...

I guess there's some of that at work, but honestly, I think it's mostly rank stupidity and incompetence. It seems many staff threw away common sense to make space in their minds for policy. :duh:

Now deal with Anonymous, which you never saw coming in your wildest nightmares. HA HA HA

You know I really don't think the organisation of the CofS truly appreciates exactly what has been unleashed against them when it comes to anonymous. Believe me for every masked protestor you see out on the streets there are a hundred fold more working quitely behind the scenes helping to raise awareness and spread the truth about the CofS :hifive:

That and the fact that all the Orgs are doing all hands call in on the Basics, and CF updates, etc.
Up until 1 month ago I was receiving on average 3 call a day from Flag, FSSO, Bridge (at one stage it was more like 6 or 7). I've never been to any of these places. Would occasionally get calls from CLO and the AO in my area. As they were going through to my mobile (never gave a landline), I could tell which calls were Scios, so naturally never answered. But the number of people leaving a message to call THEM back. Yeah right :dieslaughing:

One guy I spoke to (before working out which numbers were Scio) actually scoffed at how many calls I was receiving by telling me "that's nothing, one guy I spoke to was receiving 400 a week". :omg:

Apparently that many people are pissed off with the non stop calls that they have changed tactics. Of course they have put a PR spin on it. They have a new computer program to cross reference all orgs with public called. Who called, what was spoken about etc.

Their whole system is based on rank stupidity and incompetence :D

An easy way I handle those all-hands callers (if calling from a private number) is simply telling them I am in a meeting and call me back in about 2-3 hours. By then usually they are off all-hands, so I don't get a second call.

Another thing to do is answer the phone, let them talk for a minute, then tell them to hang on . Just put the phone down and leave it. They will br hanging on for ages.

Hah! CF comes into the late 20th century!

When I was somewhat engaged in call-in in the early 80s at Saint Hill, we sometimes had spates of "getting on policy", where you were only allowed to call with the CF folder in hand. And of course you made a brief note of your own call and put it in the file for the next guy.

Which sounds fine. The problem is that if you look at a CF file and the records of the past twenty phone calls are mostly "No Answer", with an occasional polite "Get lost" in various forms, it doesn't encourage you to call again. And you can end up spending your call-in time doing nothing except reading such notes and getting discouraged.

Calling-in from lists of names and phone numbers only avoids this situation. There--problem solved!

Ahem.

You could:

  • Ask them if they know that 40 of their senior execs are provisionally declared and locked in the SP Hall at Gold base and have been for years.

Ask them if they know the LRH references on abortion.

Issue a tidal wave warning for 12 April.

Suggest that they google "LRH Affirmations"

Mind you, you might not be on their call in list for that much longer.
