This thread is designed to document diverse rants, ramblings and musings of Hubbard. They may be contained in LRH EDs, LRH Orders, private letters or in "LRH Advices", such as the following one, written during a time when Hubbard was officially "off lines". It was directed at the "Director of Registration" of the FSO, shortly after the organization had been set up their headquarters in the city of Clearwater:

Generational differences in language aside, his usage and grammar really was atrocious, wasn't it?

He was just having a down grammar.

But seriously, this is what the cult is. A money for Hubbard machine.

If you ask me, the whole unveiling of the OT III narrative on Flag is one major rambling episode by the fat fucker. As I've probably mentioned before, I think he's making the story up as he's going along, and if that's not rambling, I don't know what is.

Despite his claims that premature revelation of the OT III story was lethal, L. Ron Hubbard wrote a screenplay version under the title Revolt in the Stars in the 1970s. This revealed that Xenu had been assisted by beings named Cheech ("the Galactic Minister of Police") and Chong ("the Executive President of the Galactic Interplanetary Bank"). It has not been officially published, although the treatment was circulated around Hollywood in the early 1980s. Unofficial copies of the screenplay circulate on the Internet.

Oh, sorry, that might have been Chi and Chu not Cheech and Chong, but it's only ramblings, so what does it matter?

Now, this is a very sensible instruction from LRH that although it may be beneficial to exploit the outliers, aka millionaires, through creative innovation and targeting, it is equally if not more important to exploit the general population through standard actions that must be applied on a day-to-day basis.

Very wise council for any business.

However, upper management is a machine that constantly churns out hair brained ideas for new programs, events, promotional messages, services, etc. that pull people off their posts, transfers them, puts them on special missions and projects, forces them onto all-hands for days without sleep, diverts money and resources to non-standard things, conducts investigations and implements punishments that destabilize staff and public, lies and creates "shore stories" about ulterior motives for orders and PR flaps, the whole time siphoning off as much money as possible which is needed for staff and those very important standard actions, and on and on.

This is upper management's "standard actions" and much of that was directly ordered by LRH, known, tolerated and encouraged by him.

LRH talked about Pavlov making the lab dogs neurotic by: ringing the bell - feed the dog, ring the bell - beat the dog.

There are some sound lessons to be learned from Scientology. One of mine is that people tend to say what they think in spite of themselves. If you pay close attention to what LRH says, you will find an underlying contempt and mistrust of humanity. We are not in control, we are influenced by engrams, implants, BTs, evil intentions, overts and withholds and until we have been cleansed, tested and certified according to his standards it is assumed that we are degraded and incapable. He tells us that we are immortal and capable of infinite greatness and creativity and should be able to know simply because we are who we are and have experienced everything on the whole track already. Yet, then proceeds to bury us with a stream of micromanaging orders that are cast in stone like the word of god, each one with its own contradictory set of orders or arbitrary alternative to be exercised by upper management at will. Exercise creative uniqueness if you dare - if it pans out well you get a bone, if not, you will be taught to avoid attempting such unauthorized creativity again.

Over time, the food becomes less and of poorer quality and the punishments become greater and more finely woven into thought processes until the primary motivation is no longer food but the avoidance of punishment.

No, no, NO!!! Cheech and Chong would be perfect. Now that's a movie I would pay to see. By the way, I downloaded the Revolt in the Stars book online. I don't know where they got it or what form it originally was in but I do have it. I tried reading it but got bored silly. Wait! I think that was right before I ended up in the hospital with pneumonia.

I'll just leave this here~ http://www.xenu.net/archive/ronthenut/

There use to be a great site filled with LRon quotes that has unfortunately lapsed its domain (think its a fashion site now *sad* ), but the OCMB site seems to have quite a bit archived :happydance:

Some of my favorite ramblings of the old windbag are still to be found all over You Tube, here is an example ~ His grasp of basic physics and space science was, at best, tenuous.

I think one reason that I never "fell" for Ron was partly due to that underlying contempt for Humanity that i heard in his voice.
Anyways, I totally love your post, and I agree with every word.

Here is another one of LRH Advices that survived the shredding operations. Here he talks about Scientology's/Narconon's onslaught into the non-religious "sector":

I don't know the legal wording for it, but I'm pretty sure a case could be made that Hubbard, despite his statement re: The Cherch, "..and I certainly do not own it...." Did in fact receive boatloads of money from $cientology, all well concealed through various corporations and paper-chase shenanigans. Which amounts to the same thing as owning it, receiving benefit from it.

He's covering his tracks even in communications to his minions.

Lying liars are gonna lie.

I think the work you are seeking may be 'inurement'.

It doesn't reflect the concept of ownership, but does characterize the scenario in which one personally receives financial benefits that violate the regulatory laws regarding non-profit entities.

LOL

Well, okay, maybe he made it up as he went along. In that narrowly defined way, he's a sucky guru.

However, on the positive side, Dr. Hubbard was a genius at marketing!

That's why he called his raconteurial ramblings Scientology--instead of FatFuckerology.

Trying to reconcile all these statements in the same place:

“…I really never pushed hard on advising anyone what to do in life”.”

“Anyone laying a pattern of civilization into a culture has the same problem.”

“…it is something new to do a book of morals that are non-religious and not connected to any church and are based on common sense.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CoFSpoAbXLc

But seriously, very very quickly after the 1977 FBI raids a project was initiated to have the “R” physically cut out of internal documents with a razor blade in order to get rid of any proof that LRH was directly managing the Church. This was kind of like closing the barn door after the horses have left considering what the FBI had already siezed. In either case, here is a document written over 3 years later with his characteristic “R” signature. Consequently, if we see a doc that looks characteristic of LRH with a little hole where an “R” would be, then its probably authentic. We don’t see the routing here, probably because it would serve as a road map back to whoever retained this copy, but it doesn’t have “Issue Authority” meaning it was probably an internal order as opposed to a policy that is issued.

Maybe he felt it was OK to use his “R” here, post raid, because in his mind he was specifically making the point that he was not a religious leader, controlling the organization and not getting money from the Church. In other words, this doc seems virtually written to be read by the FBI or IRS while hatting GO/OSA PR people on how to represent his relationship in a way that didn’t imply inurement.

According to my source this specific "Ron Advice" was sent to a marketing unit within the Scientology network. I know that hundreds of these advices survived at least until the early 1990s, as they had been adopted as official policy, for example at the FSO. The so-called "hatpacks" for department and divisionheads contained numerous of those advices that had to be "studied" in order to obtain the "full hat" of one's post.
