>I see some people wondering why these Scientologist in CoS cannot see all this alter-is and squirreling.
How about all these Jews and Christians and Muslims? Can't they see their religion being squirreled? Have they ever wondered about it?
Quote by me:
I think the major problem with comparing religions to themselves and other views is that even though they will have some sort of base agreement, they will wander after the tree gets yay high. I subscribe to a religion, and in that way I have bound myself to whom I believe, and what I believe God to be. That is not a problem for me, it actually gets me through the day. The thing about a high priest (let's pick on the Catholics), is that they are given the authority and called by its name, "Father." In fact, when the pope isn't in his pop-mobile, he's usually sitting on a chair that gives him the authority of God. I have a problem with that. I also have a problem with the notion of Jihad. How do you know God wants you to nuke daycare centers? Don't you think that's a little off the deep end? No kidding, children in Russia drank their own urine! But considering Catholicism, you have one book in particular that does not get canonized. Why? Because Mary Magdalene was a woman, and there were 12 disciples, and depicting her as Jesus's favorite set the numberical and symbolic relationships off balance. Ever hear of the 13th apostle? He wasn't in the Bible cuz he's a black man! I think that's were it came from, because around 800 A.D. some pope comes out (can't remember who) and says Mary Magdalene was the prostitute that Jesus saved from being stoned to death. End of debate, end of the Gospel of Mary Magdalene, who doesn't have to be a disciple, but it is clear that she was Jesus's closest confidant, meaning he spoke privately with her. But noooooooo, we have to push women out of power and use sex as a control device. No wonder man's institution's are corrupt; need I remind you that Jesus overturned the tables of commerce that were placed in what he called, "My Father's place of business."
