Those quotes really bring home the insanity of the man. I wonder how he got to the point where he realised that he could actually get away with making up such nonsense and get money for it!

How anyone can support this bullshit cult after considering some of these ridiculous statements is beyond belief.

I know people who have been involved since the 1950's and they've wasted their entire lives negotiating through his tangled web of deceit whilst destroying the lives of their children, their grandchildren and their immediate family.

Re: The Ron Series . . .

In response to Scientology's attempt to take down the flikr site which originally hosted these images. The artist concerned, Observer over at the Bunker, advises:
" . . . I hereby give all legitimate Bunkeroos (as opposed to Scientology impostors and infiltrators) permission to copy, upload, post, and anything else they deem necessary to further the cause of Scientology criticism, with the single exception of altering them, any of my shoops anywhere at any time without restriction . . . "

Infinite, thank you for adding the ones I somehow missed. :hifive:

This series of graphics was created by beloved Underground Bunker commenter - Observer. Her shoops make us laugh, think, and gasp.

The Co$ made a series of books covering the life of L. Ron Hubbard, lies about his life's accomplishments, i.e. his service in WW II, his college education, etc. http://www.lronhubbard DOT org/books/ron-series/biographical-encyclopedia.html (Be aware the previous link is a Co$ website - replace DOT with a dot.)

This series created by Observer shows the TRUTH about Ron's life.

Enjoy!

Good show.

Here is what Ron tried to do and the COS is still trying to do: (Ron created credibility by lying and stating he was all these things, these accomplished things as everything you point out)

If you wish to persuade, you need to establish credibility and authority with your audience. A man may have the most logical and well-thought-out argument, but if his audience doesn’t think he’s trustworthy or even worth listening to, all his reasoning will be for naught.

as quoted from:

http://www.artofmanliness.com/2010/12/21/classical-rhetoric-101-the-three-means-of-persuasion/

Hubbard was learned in rhetorical writing as he states to his Dean Wilbur at GW University:

http://education.lronhubbard.org/page16.htm

Quote from Hubbard to Dean Wilbur:

" Do not allow this to upset you in any way. Put it down that I am a rebel, a nonconformist, anything. Some of these days I am going to set down these things in a book, and your rhetoric, very battered now, will be open on the desk beside me when I write it."

Heh! I regret to advise it was by accident rather than design. Without checking whether or not someone had already done so, I started out to post all of them in a thread I started with a slightly different name. Alas, or fortunately as it turns out, I had a connection problem just after I posted the second one. Imagine, then, my delight when logging back in later on to find you had done the necessary collating, clicking, and loading while some helpful mod had bundled the two threads. I see also that you have actually uploaded the files too which is brilliant as the host sites may well be changing. So, an accident, but a happy one.

I see some mirrors are starting to pop up . . .

Just did a duck duck go search on 'the ron series' and this thread came up 11th after the Siclon adverts, ebay and some totally unrelated stuff (like Charlize Theron) - not too shabby

I've read former official LRH biographer Omar Garrison's 'Working points/proposal' for the aborted late 1970s LRH biography. Garrison, who at the time worked for Scientology, was visibly uneasy with the project. He was - then - struggling to find a way to write an actual serious adult biography of Hubbard. You know, one thick volume with lots of words as with any serious adult biography. As I recall, he, out of desperation, went so far to suggest that this biography be a new kind of creative biography, one that focuses not on the past, but on the future, and one that was not about its subject (Hubbard) but about the subject's ideas, etc.

Garrison was struggling with what he was beginning to see was an impossible project. Finally, he threw up his hands in frustration and quit, and ended up testifying at Armstrong vs Church of Scientology in 1984, on the side of Armstrong and against Scientology.

The current "biographer" Dan Sherman has adopted some of Garrison's ideas, and then - to create the illusion of comprehensiveness - produced a ridiculous series of puffed up coffee table books.
