I do not know if anyone who has not been through the harrow of Scn would have strong emotions about some soft non-committal politically correct lyrics such as these.
(are they?)
Anyhow, it appears to me as an empty container, with a weak and vague new-age after-taste typical of the mindset of some (easy) prey for the cult vultures.
I imagine after the seizing (and perhaps the short 'love bombing') the reiterated promises to fill that emptiness (which are never fully brought into actuality); what is certain instead is the exploitation of the individual.
The greater the words of triumphant enthusiasm (e.g. of the midget and his acolytes) in public events, the harder and bleaker the day-to-day conditions of the ordinary staff member. Self-delusion plays also a part in this scenario.
That said, I find that there is a consoling feeling which is not bad: life is hard.
All the above applies to myself only and is purely subjective, of course.
