My own little pocket of time...

Ah yes. Here's my confession. I was posted as an HGC auditor. During the weekdays, there wouldn't be too many PC's. I would help in the academy sometimes as a word clearer. Sometimes is the key word. The D of P would think I was in the academy (or just didn't care) and the sups would think I was in the HGC. You know where I was? Either napping or at the movies. :drama:

Apparently no one on the board remembers Firesign Theatre. (Sigh) I see why the old become disenchanted.

Do you have a light, mac?

No, but I have a light brown overcoat.

/from memory, may be slightly off it's been a long time.

And he walked into a great sandstone building...

Ooooahh. My nose...

He walks in! He's ready for mystery...he's ready for
excitement! He's ready for anything...he's...

SOUND: TELEPHONE PICKED UP
NICK: Nick Danger, Third Eye!

Uh-I wanna order a pizza to go, and no
anchovies.

NICK: No anchovies? You've got the wrong man. I spell
my name...Danger! [click]

What?

not forgotten. And still as funny as the day it was recorded...

Love it! Thanks.

I haven't heard any of their stuff in over 30 years, but I still remember the "bummer " line and, Nick Danger sitting idly in his office at the beginning of the story, "...reading my name on my office door, Regnad Ksinnnn".

I wonder where Ruth is?

'This is no movie! This is real!

'Which reel?'

'Reel 2 of our vintage motion picture; 'High School Madness'

you'd be surprised how often that is appropriate...

Related: 'Which side are you on?'
'Side 2!'

'You're with us'

Just be advised that all post in security at flb is covered 24hs no fail. and the motels is not an exemption, at least it never was, and PK (Paul Kellehar, Security Chief flb) would never approve leaving the motels with no guards. I know that, I was in security and guarded the motels many times. Also guards never assist any events unless it is for security jobs, guards dont have a life, may be when you sleep, (7:30hs or less) you dont guard, the rest is 10' to breakfast, 2:00hs study , 30' or more of muster and 12hs or more of watch. after that no time for nothing, usually daywatch is on duty, nightwach get up about 730pm but on events they come to the base about 4:30 to 5:00pm eat fast and go to their designated positions to do watch nothing else (exept in a few events we sold tapes and books too). the motels was never left alone since 1996 that I know of.

Sheesh, you young'uns.

Everything you know is wrong!!! (tm Firesign Theatre, who are AMERICAN)

The above is a misquote and an incorrect attribution.

"Have you got a light, Mac?

No, but I have a dark brown overcoat ..."

This comes from Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, who are BRITISH.
