The problem with legislation that restricts access for any reason is the big lobby money is on the side of interests that want to preserve access. There are also personal industry and union interests at play. Phone companies want people to pay for blocking service instead of having phones that block. The postal service has been financially inviable for years - they subsist on junk mail.
The Church may be able to claim exemption from the Do Not Call Registry on the basis that they are a charity and the person being called has established a relationship with them:

Entities that have been granted tax exempt status under the Internal Revenue Code are not necessarily Exempt Organizations for purposes of the National Do Not Call Registry. See, e.g., FTC v. There, the FTC successfully challenged the status of a purported nonprofit organization whose role in fact was simply to generate leads for other firms which then charged consumers thousands of dollars in fees for their services. Exempt Organizations must wait three business days following the submission of their request before they may be given access to registered numbers. have quickly read through this thread but could not fail to see from the very beginning $cn jargon, such as "psych drugs" being used by this person.
This is not the sort of language used by a person just looking into the subject, or not knowing very much about it, IMO.
This is a person with some already implanted terminology.
They forget themselves sometimes.

Per policy, you essentially may not be removed from the Central Files until you die. Just buying a book could get you this but signing up for an actual service is certain. It is not unusual for people to continue receiving phone calls, texts and mail for decades after they have discontinued any connection. Even if your address becomes Addunk (Address Unknown, they mark such folders with this), they may pursue finding your new address with great determination. I suspect they have units specifically for this and maybe even use Skip Tracing businesses operated by public Scientologists with connections to OSA (Office of Special Affairs) which is their investigative "PR handling" enforcement arm, and/or OSA connected lawyers and PIs.
Their calls are sometimes routed out of St. Lucia so US laws on nuisance calls can probably be circumvented.
Even people who have been officially declared as SPs (Suppressive Persons, essentially excommunicated) may still be contacted.
It is entirely possible someone will come to your house, if not from the local org or mission then by a Missionaire (a person working on a Mission or special project usually sent from another higher org) to contact and "clean up" the field, etc. This can happen years or decades later.
The entire organization operates on stats and strict quotas. If a staff member's stats are level or down from the prior week before Thursday at 2:00 PM then they risk punishment with "conditions or amends" assignments or denial of some benefit or privilege such as time off. It is of course impossible to maintain stats up week over week forever so the pressure to "push" stats is extremely high.
You are now a stat. I suspect even some poor soul stuck in a boiler room somewhere gets a stat for every attempted phone call or text. They probably get 2 points if you pick-up.
As for all the junk mail you will now receive - it costs them money to do this and it costs you nothing to toss it in the recycling bin. Don't let it bother you.

There was a major takeover of the Mission network in 82 by Miscavige and gang. The Santa Barbara Org played a key role in the aftermath. Suggest you look into this. Very interesting history.

Pointing out some cult terminology has your knickers in that much of a twist? So far you've tried to have a go at Thrak, Hoax, TAJ, and now xseaorguk on this thread. Since you're asking for a recommendation, stop being such a douche.
