Trolling for Business on ESMB

Snideness isn't logical reasoning by the way.
Where is snideness on Hubbard's Tone Scale?

The Anabaptist Jacques

Ana you are WAY to serious. I'm not being snide I'm being a troll.

I like you! Truly I do.

I'm actually doing you a favor by finding your buttons for you. Take this opportunity to learn about yourself. If I tick you off, ask yourself why and learn from it. That is what good trolling does.

Also, just so you know, you are doing this:

"Persistence On A Given Course - At 4.0, the persistence of the individual will be the persistence with which he is natively endowed; all the theta that he possesses wil be free."

You're being persistent. Just sayin'.

Actually I like yo too which is why I jumped in. I see too that you're an ex-FCDCer. Just so you know, I am working on a very serious project at my desk here, and I take breaks and switch back to look at the board. So if I come off as too serious its because I haven't change gears fast enough.
As for Hubbard, thanks for the compliment that I am persistent, but discarding Hubbard, I now think of it as me just being plain stubborn.

Ever read Napoleon Hill's famous "Think and Grow Rich"? For those who haven't read it, he spent 30 years researching it by interviewing many of the top people of his day (Henry Ford etc.) and noting the commonalities that made them successful.

Anyway, one of those commonalities is the habit of making (good!) decisions fast, and changing them so very slowly. Sticking on a given course solely because you decided to can be kinda stupid, obviously, but obstinately sticking with what you believe in - when you are willing to take new ideas on board and chew them over and change if needed - seems to be a top trait.

The link is to the relevant book chapter on persistence in my free "Yawn and Grow Rich" course: http://www.yawnandgrowrich.com/yagr_ch09.htm

Even if that were actually true (and it's not), your remark is a clear case of PKB syndrome: Pot, Kettle, Black :goodjob:

Michael "The Sneakster" Hobson
I am *not* anonymous

It certainly is a case of pot/kettle/black. Alanzo doesn't mind doubleteaming people of whom he disapproves and he's stirred a few pots himself. Let the biter be bit, as the old folk saying goes.

And you'll even doubleteam up with others to get in some of your own bites yourself!

P/K/B, indeed!:hysterical:

I rarely ever discuss Alanzo here or anywhere else, for that matter- and that includes back-channel (I doubt he can make an equivalent claim). This is the first time I've done so in a very long time and it's mainly a demonstration of solidarity with Sparrow for what he's going through, although, of course, Sparrow's doing just fine on his own.

Alanzo, you cannot expect to mess with people on and off for years and then expect them to be your bestest pal. And if that stuff happens enough, you do more than just lose friends or lose potential friends. There are a lot of people here who really really like you and I can certainly see why. You are intelligent and witty. There's a lot to like there. But in general, one can only push people so far. Let that be a lesson to you.

Lesson learned. :bigcry:

Thank you, Fluffy.

Hmm.. Does he discuss you, without you being aware of it.. Sort of elusive arguments gone with the wind?

Heh. Alanzo's been 'messin' with me for a decade, and, he's my bestest little buddy :)

As no two people are alike, neither are any two relationships, cyber or otherwise.

Like grains of sand in the hourglass, these are The Days Of Our Lives. (a nod to my husband who thinks this place is like a soap opera.)

I tried to get Alanzo to answer a simple question and he never could/did. :confused2:

Done with that foolishness. :eyeroll:
