Tory had nothing to do with any of this. Megaphonebitch DID post that he was going to rape Tory. I read the post, as did a number of other people. The moderators later removed it -- hmmmm, I wonder why? Possible legal troubles. Or, they thought it could be a way to achieve something more sinister.
Numbers at protests have been down. They believed this to be because a large number of the chans had left after the schism, which they did. A plot was formed to discredit some of the OG (moralfags) and convince Anonymous to return to the pre-February black ops. While this has not been explicitly stated yet, that is the plan. Unfortunately, Tory was one of the victims of this plot. Tommy acted wrongly, yet none of the Thunderdumb cowards ever called Megaphonebitch on the carpet for his threats against Tory.
MEGAPHONE BITCH THREATENED TO RAPE TORY. THE POST WAS LATER REMOVED BY THE MODERATORS. THIS IS THE TRUTH.
Megaphonebitch is just as guilty as Tommy in this. But on a deeper level, so are the cowards who concocted this misguided plot in the first place.
Misguided and ineffectual. Expect the lowest numbers ever come August. I always thought TD was a bad idea. It has now permanently fractured and neutered Anonymous.

Sometimes I get the feeling that there's a tacit expectation of uniformity (I wouldn't quite say conformity) in Anonymous that's neither possible nor desirable.
Some of the Anon metaphors and images suggest this uniformity. "Herd of cats" is hugely misleading as a description of Anonymous. (Why should all Anons be the same species?) The mask, the suit and the allusions to V for Vendetta were meant to imply a rough consensus on a core of basic ideals ("ideas beneath the mask"); they shouldn't be overinterpreted to mean complete agreement on everything Anonymous could conceivably stand for or what its nature is or ought to be.
Strange days for Anonymous. I wonder if Tory will respond to the handful of people who worked on the "unofficial official statement".

I went over to the Thunderdome and I don't see what the big deal is. It's all pink and green and mudkiped out. I guess that is the place where Anons can be Anons and participate in that 3rd grade bathroom humor. ok fine. BFD. Juvenile. I don't see why Tory would want to go there in the first place- it's a complete bore. If I want to see nasty pics, I go to Craigslist Casual Encounters where men are posting pics of their engorged members compared to shaving cream cans. Now that is entertainment.

That post isn't true Boldgirl. I read the whole thread and MPB didn't say he was going to rape and kill her. And the mods say they didn't delete any posts like that either. Tory maybe got upset and exagerated or something. Who knows. She shouldn't have gone in there. She shouldn't have told Tommy about it either since it is a touchy subject, to put it mildly, with Tommy. But I don't think she did it on purpose. It's too bad about the whole thing.
Anyway, it's starting to quiet down on enturb and things will get sorted out one way or another.
