I think that a planned 1 day protest at the sites of ALL of the Sea Org RPFs, well publicized in advance, and OFFER to help any RPFers wishing to LEAVE right then and there, assistance to leave, would be a good thing.

I can tell you, there were MORE than a few times, had a bus come driven around the complex with a sign on its side saying "RPF Members Bus to Freedom, We'll Help You Start Your Life Over If You Want to Blow Right Now!", I'd definitely jumped on board.

Sounds like a great idea to me!

He is out and my son is with me.

He blew, escaped, took control of his life, made a stand, said thats enough..... yesterday and he is home with me and ready to begin a new life outside the clutches of scio.
I am so proud of him and I am sure in the not to distante future he may just introduce himself here but all in his own time and on his decision.

I'll be at the protest this coming Saturday the 11th. If your son wants any assistance dealing with the damage of the processes and dehumanising of the RPF, etc, I am more than happy to work with him privately. You can meet me there or PM me separately. I am in the Sydney area.

ChuckBeatty: I was in the RPF at PAC '85 - '86. We were not allowed to call family. We did not have a dentist available. Only the extremely ill were allowed to go to the doctor, by CSW and with an escort. Letters to anyone outside the SO had to be approved first and were often sent back to be rewritten. We were guarded and watched at all times (until my last 3 wks, when they wanted me to blow). We strictly could not communicate to anyone in the SO outside the RPF unless RPF MAA decided it was absolutely necessary. It was against policy to send RPFers to the RPFs RPF for wanting to leave, but it was done anyway for the vaguest excuses. Parents and children were often separated (as mine was from me). Our pay was $6/week. We could not leave our assigned areas. The food wasn't too bad, but it was still just scraps and some days/meals there wasn't very much or there was none. So I think things got worse again from when you were in.
