OMG! I haven't looked at this in years. I had forgotten about the video of the Mars landing where there is no comm lag with Houston.
Just to be pedantic:
1. the communications lag between Mars and Earth will be anywhere from 6 to 44 minutes depending on where the planets are in their orbits.
2. The Manned Space Center in Houston didn't open until a year after this video was supposedly made.

Maybe in the last few years. He died in 1991. But most of the Free Zone, a.k.a. Ron's Orgs material was written in the early 1980s. Some was written earlier than that.

Yes, and that was in the early and mid 1980s. Hubbard was supposed to have left his body, and returned the the mothership, around 1980, leaving his meat body inhabited by some other subordinate thetan.
According to Face, the Galactic Patrol song was written in the 1970s.
Xenu's SP Declare, according to Robertson, was written by Hubbard in 1967. Robertson saw this (confidential) SP Declare. The below version was updated and modified for Free Zone consumption. It reflects other accounts by Hubbard re. Captain Bill was first and foremost a psychological causality of Hubbard; secondarily he seems to have tragically died from complications from throat cancer, probably resulting from heavy smoking.

Being a PR person you wouldn't understand, but it's more accurate to say it's the definition of honest.
Ron's Orgs - while quite secretive about its upper levels - violates Scientology PR tech in being open about much of its beliefs. Kooky yes, but honest. And not much kookier that ordinary secretive and PR shrouded, and less honest, Scientology.
