Have you been to the Bahamas? I have. What a disappointment. A couple of casinos, a lot of people living in poverty in shacks just behind the brand new, pricey condos. The area has been raped from overfishing and IMO, the beaches are mediocre. It's an armpit compared to Cancun or Puerto Vallarta Mexico, and purgatory compared to Australia, which is absolutely HEAVEN.

You do know that there are dozens of us Aussies ready to welcome you and your family to the wonderful world of OZ, right? Pick a coast, any coast, and I'll show you a beach that's so pristine and teaming with happy dolphins and other ocean life, you'll know it's the real thing. The Great Barrier Reef has beauty and magic beyond any artist's dream.

The closest I ever came to the Bahamas was Curacao, which I only went for 1/2 a day. I was in the Universe Corps for Venezuela Org (what a joke that was!) and we had to renew our visa so we had to leave the country for a bit and come back in. Was nice. Very pretty, but I can't imagine living there.

I went on a cruise with my husband and we got to see several islands. We hated Jamaica and will never go back.

Okay! There's no time limit on the offer and lots to do for kiddies. Qantas runs free kids specials all the time, too.

The whole family would love Puerto Vallarta and it's cheaper and closer. Nice blend of the old and new. Stunning beaches, horseback riding through incredible nature trails through streams, waterfalls and woods, zoos, beautiful beaches. It's an inexpensive vacation if you stay out of the name brand hotels.

Failing that, there's always the good old Wisconsin Dells.

Eva and Bonnie lived with us in 1978 in LA while on OT levels @ AOLA. I have a few pics at home I came across recently that I'll dig out and attach. I never met Bambi. I was only 12 but recall Bonnie had an ego the size of a house, so the prodigy thing had definitely gone to her head, I also remember she put mustard on EVERYTHING...seriously, on her eggs, salads, meats....mustard, mustard mustard. Don't know what happened to them after we moved to Clearwater.

Now I recall there being a Bonni Blake relation and I do recall a situation of a Blake being with an older man, although I though it was in reference to Bambi. It was something I recall hearing about, an ethics matter, in Los Angeles. Perhaps it was in regard to this Vinnie Telosi/Tolosi guy. It's been s long and it was just here say passing by. My memories of Bambi are from when she was in Los Angeles but I was also in NY before and after all the field explosion.

I guess I thought of Sylvia Morales because they were both FSMs there and often hung out together in the times before the Mission Holder mess. I wonder what happened to them all.

I gather this is Eva, who I have no recollection of . Looks like she stayed in.
