Which briefings?
The ones held by the church? or by the Indies? or the ones held by Zinj?
Interesting that they all push the same message...ESMB is bad, stay away, join us instead.
The church? The Indies? Zinj?
Fuck 'em!

There is always the possibility that Wendy's 600 are really 600 BT's clustered together and stuck her left ass cheek who learned to audit by watching Wendy cure cancer and Down's Syndrome. In which case she's being quite truthful.

Now that Wendy Honnor has been installed as the Supreme Spiritual Leader of both the Independents and the Free Zone, a new era of peace and prosperity has begun for all. It has been reported on Vatican Radio that Marty fell to his knees and kissed her ring but was too moved to be able to speak. Telegrams have come in from Pope, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Dalai Lama, Tom Cruise, and Dr Terril Park, begging her to assume rule over the entire Earth and Heavens for all eternity. This she graciously and modestly assented to. At the exact moment that Pierre the XIIth placed the Independent Crown on her head and the Free Zone Pokemon Cards in her hand, a shriek was heard at Gold Base and COB was seen to turn to dust and blow away on a cruel wind. In the same moment the Cof$ was dissolved forever. This truly is the dawn of a new era. No official communique has been issued by Sector Commander Elron Elray as yet, but unofficial reports state that he is "really quite chuffed, actually" Attempts are underway to find one million Lepers for Her Amazingness to cure by simply glancing in their direction as she simultaneously creates a new moon in the sky to commemorate the beginning of her thousand year rule. I can write no more. I am overcome with emotion.
Is this really true? Really?
Methinks you are, in this case above, somewhat exaggerating for the sake of humor. It IS funny - but maybe not so accurate.
Do the actions of Hard Sell, imprisonment, forced disconnection, financial rape, terrorism, Fair Game and much more go on in the "Indie Zone" ANYWHERE even remotely close to the degree that they do in the organized Church of Scientology? As I understand it, there are many different people and groups "practicing" different versions and mixes of "Scientology" in what is called the "Free Zone" or "Indie Scientology". Without the centralized control, as exist in the official C of S, I would guess (and I am only guesing) that much or most of the MAJOR idiocy and abuse falls away. Maybe an Indie can help me out here. When was the last time an SP Order was issued or disconnection recommended or enforced on anyone?
I may be wrong, but I don't think so. :confused2:
I suspect that there are more than a few in the "Indie Zone" who don't even consider the policies that define and describe many of those behaviors to be "legitimate", or anything of value to be duplicated and/or followed. Aren't there some or many who largely toss out the Scientology organizational and ethics/justice nonsense, and simply "deliver auditing"?
Again, maybe I am too hopeful for my own good. :confused2:
Oh, you are talking about the grassroots Indie movement. That parallels the 1950's for Hubbard. During these incipient stages, everyone is super friendly. That's the Successful Action.
But when they gain support, traction and finance, watch how it goes. The same as Hubbard's totalitarian mind-control cult. And how do I know this? Easy. . .
Because the Indies have not publicly disavowed the criminal, fraudulent & terror policies of Scientology. Did you ever once see Rathbun or others on his site call for the CANCELLATION of even one LRH policy?
I didn't think so.

I think it's important she get's suitable decompression time from the bends of the CoS life she has so long known but... the inherent contradictions of this reply to Tory seem to me worthy of discussion bearing in mind she is bringing her 600 auditors to "the new light". WTF???... she seems to be very Theta regarding Tory's obviously "enturbulating" views...
From Farty's site...

"Well spoken Tory! I have been watching your fantastic videos for months and months. I also watched a panel discussion you had one time and I was so impressed by it. Every post, every website, every blog. It’s all part of the road out. You just never know who will be next. Thank you for everything Tory. I am your fan and I know many others who are too. Love Wendy"
"grassroots Indie movement"![]()
I wonder if they go out, sell copies of DMSMH on the street, and deliver "Book One auditing"?
I suppose it seems to me that Marty has tried to co-opt the name "Indie" for his own type of "Independent" Scientology. Our very own Clair (as she is fond of reminding us) came up with that term LONG before Marty entered upon the scene.
I agree that Rathbun and anyone who thinks along the same lines is a HUGE DUMBASS, and I agree with everything you have ever said if "Indie" = Marty and the Gang.
But, again, I don't think the term "Indie" refers to any actual group of any sort that is all-inclusive, none that includes all the various people who practice some version of Scientology OUTSIDE the nutty centralized organization.
Do you consider Marty to be the "leader" of what you call the "Indie movement"?
Yes. He is the leader of the Indie movement. That is pretty obvious. The same way Obama is the President of the United States--even though the candidate who opposed him got a hell of a lot of votes (69M compared to 59M). If anyone has any questions on who is the Indie leader just do a quick count of how many tv, radio and print articles quoted Marty and how many other "Indie Leaders" were interviewed/quoted.
If so, I will keep that in mind in the future.
It is just that to me, someone like Mark Baker is an "independent Scientologist" of a sort, yet he does NOT go for Marty or for much of the Scientology organizational nonsense. Mark has, even recently, pretty much publicly disavowed the criminal, fraudulent & terror policies of Scientology. Yet wouldn't you consider HIM an "Indie"? :confused2:
Mark Baker is a Bakerologist. He uses some of the Scientology he chooses. Ron Hubbard would be the authority on who a Scientologist is and he would Declare and Fair Game Mark Baker, even though he calls himself some kind of Scientologist. Baker confuses people because he pretends that he is the source and authority on all such matters when he is not. But that doesn't stop him from trying.
I am just talking here - expressing how it seems to me.
In my opinion as time has gone on the people leaving the Cof$ are of lower and lower calibre. The bright ones with a bit of integrity left a while ago. It's just drones we're seeing now. Ho hum.
The only real plus I can see is that she's no longer pumping money into the Cof$. It would be nice to see her drop the mind-set, but there's no sign of that so far. Where there's life there's hope. Lol.
Just saw this over on WWP ... Rinder's opinion of Wendy Honnor:

She is delusional.

I give a standing ovation to Mike Rinder for that statement. Seriously! I like him more now than i did 30 seconds ago.
BEST GUESS: That must have been a pre-emptive strike after he and Marty realized (backchannel) that she is not going to support them and their site. And perhaps that she was a cancer-curing, slow-motion train wreck that they might want to distance themselves from.

I agree, the people that remain fully 'bee like' after all the information that has been disclosed recently via the media, are surely drone like. It isn't a term that is especially 'nice' when used about people but the term works as much as any other when referring to those that are remaining in a closed, tightly controlled cult, by choice (most ... not all). Most scientologists will not hesitate to splatter the lower org boarded drones if they dare to disobey the rules of the cofs hive.
We were once drone like ourselves and were absolutely necessary to continue the growth of the cofs but none of us had any real power (ability to sting) until we flew away.
It's just a word but its accurate IMO and I recall feeling like a drone myself.

Yep, there's a lot of people who leave the cult and still do the hive mind, go with status quo thing.
I see quite a few of them on critical fora.![]()

I've always liked Mike Rinder ... I lol'd where he said (on the same thread you referred to) "She is a "Freedom" medal winner. Sort of". Interesting times ahead.
