Wendy Honnor ....OUT!?????

This is brilliant!

Just when you think it has all got a bit boring, something comes whizzing in from ‘out of left field’ (I hope I got that expression right).

When Wendy Honnor realises it is time to leave, you know things have got bad!

This is why I was so happy to see Debbie Cook’s email 6 months ago. That has been passed around the field, even to people who weren’t on the original recipient list and was always going to have repercussions.

Wendy does appear to well-connected, I just hope that she had the common-sense to sound out her friends first and has taken action to head off the inevitable storm coming her way. I imagine that her life has just got very busy!

I tried viewing her website and got:

Bandwidth Limit Exceeded

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later.

Let’s hope this is due to hundreds of her associates trying to get more info and not a crass attempt by the cult to shut her up.

I wish her well in trying to get away from the cult, but she is going to have to apologise to Kevin and Vicky before she gets any respect from me.

Bunch of natterers and haters.

I just pulled this from the comment section over a the shack:

As a sydney public I witnessed your AMAZING, INFECTIOUS and down right UNYIELDING THETA INTENT!!!!

Caps and exclamation marks and it's written, so it must be true.

How can any of you doubt unyielding theta intent?

excellent points snipped just wanted to say that she would have to go a lot further than that to merit any sort of respect from me - even for a "scientologist " this women is a dangerous twat.

Her website is showing a bandwidth exceeded message.

Not to be paranoid, but it would be interesting to know whether that is because of all the people who were stunned by the news and wanting to read it from her own site, or whether it's the equivalent of a DDOS attack by the Cult trying to keep people from finding out the truth (though it'd be hard to overload Wordpress which hosts Rathbun's blog, which reproduced her letter). Incidentally, I just tried to access her site and got through fine.

I’d have to agree with you on that one Mick.

Even though I make allowances for those who have been mentally damaged by Scientology, sometimes you just want to, to – Grrrr!

I had a short discussion with someone on FaceBook recently. She was adamant that her son would never get vaccinated against anything. Ever! The reason – vaccines contain ‘deadly’ toxins such as Mercury and Aluminium.

I tried to explain that most vaccines didn’t have these in anymore and besides how could you ignore a known and quantifiable risk of infection by many potentially very harmful diseases because of an (allegedly) theoretical and totally unquantifiable risk of poisoning by minute quantities of elements that everyone ingests every day anyway?

Guess what her response was? (chose one):

1. Thank me for giving her a new perspective by logically and rationally explaining it to her and then promising to investigate it further as the health of her son was too important to risk to rumour and unproven allegations.

2. Tell me to read a book by some anti-establishment doctor before she would discuss it any further with me.

I don’t have to tell you which ‘Independent’ movement she belongs to.

People are entitled to their own beliefs, but when they start playing Russian Roulette with the lives of others, this gets beyond a joke.

Working again. What a complete nutjob. What will these people do when they have nobody to take them seriously anymore?

If she's "out," why are a few cheesy front groups still listed on her web site?

I looked at Wendy Honnor's web site, on the page which listed her "Humanitarian Projects" (http://wendyhonnor.com/projects.html). Turns out she still lists the "Association for Peace and Understanding in the Middle East," a cheesy Way to Happiness front group that is handing out TWTH booklets in the Gaza Strip, or something. (They apparently no longer have a web site, only a Facebook page.)

She also lists "Volunteer Amabassador, The Way to Happiness Foundation International" and "Advisory Board Member, International Foundation for Human Rights and Tolerance" (another front group) among her projects.

If she truly has blown, why are these still on there? I realize the site has the look of one that hasn't been updated for quite a while, but if you're going to go public with your defection from the cult, one would think she would have handled these minor details. I can't imagine someone resigning from the org publicly and then staying affiliated with these obvious fund raising front groups for Miscavige.

Also, I am having trouble believing that someone with grandiose, narcissistic fantasies about her importance in the world would not have updated the site with more lurid text to explain all sorts of important thoughts she had that led her to the epochal revelations that caused her to make one of the most important decisions of the 21st century that any human, anywhere would make.

Again, not trying to engage in paranoid fantasies, just trying to understand some inconsistencies in the story.

OK, I got through to her site and now I feel nauseated. She might not be drinking dwarf-flavoured Flavor Aid, but she still clearly inhabits a ‘special place’ all of her own.

Not much mention of Scientology there, although she still has the bit about her winning an IAS Freedom Medal.

I just hope this isn’t a hoax and that someone can confirm that they got this email from her personal account.

Surely Marty wouldn’t have posted it on her blog unless he was absolutely certain?

the more I check into this person the more I am thinking that the cofs is going to be really happy she has gone... LOL - I cannot wait until she starts ordering Marty around

I checked her site too and she may seem a bit strange. But... I admire the fact that she declared her defection.

I wonder how many more people fled the insanity after reading DC's New Year's Day email.

I don't expect from people leaving the Cof$ anymore. Most of them seem to be leaving because they don't like the way THEY were treated, rather than leaving for broader reasons such as the unethical behaviour of the cult in general. The last one who stood up for justice was Paul Haggis, who left because of the ill treatment of gay people. I give him some respect for that.

I can fill in for her if you need to go out.

So much less hen-picking with that fowl language redacted. Are you sure "redacted" is not fowl language? It doesn't sit right with me in my gut...sounds foul. Say it: redacted, redacted, redacted,...doesn't sound nice.

I make no comment about Wendy, personally, at this time, as it's really a cause for celebration when anyone leaves the cult and apparently Wendy has exited Scintology.

First thing is to allow her to continue to cause her effects on the cult internally and within her circles of friends and asociates by this important decision.

We should be enjoying the consequences of this brave act, not tearing apart the other parts of her character before she gets head start out the range of OSA. There's enough on the net about her anyway. Let's cheer her on. Let's not smear the woman and help do OSA's work.

I'm happy Wendy Honnor is now out, looking in. She's a Freedumb Medal Winner, a big time fsm/field auditor, Volunteer OSA PR for ANZO and now she's announcing "public departure". A serious Suppressive ACT.

You have to know that when a die hard moonbat like Wendy is fed up with the bullshit, then it's got to be like 10,000 dominoes going down inside the orgs.

People are starting to read critical data. The OG and Anonymous and the FZ/Indie types have put all the truth and information out there for everyone to see. It can no longer be ignored.

My hope and belief is that the Scios leaving the cult, make it a short stay with the FZ/Indie bunch and then move on to real more critical information and not stay stuck in the Scn mindfuck.

I'm not real worried about the FZ/Indies doing anything important. You have to realize that the FZ/Indies are still Scios and are very damaged and delusional. These guys all have an I.V. hook up to the koolaid. They think just like the guys inside do about most things.

The FZ/Indies are loaded with trouble making kooks that are righteous Scios and completely snake shit crazy. Just like in the cult, there are always big flaps and people k/ring each other, assigning each other conditions and black pr'ing and destroying each others lives for being out ethics. Nothing changes except there's
no OSA or PR department in the F/Z Indie Community so the shit storms get posted about and the full moonbattery is exposed.

I generally avoid all things FZ/Indie because it's all the same Scio crazy drama and it gets annoying after a while.

Wendy Honnor is a major alpha female drama queen. She's gonna create lots of Lulz for some of us as she enters the "FZ/Indie-anon-OG-exes-critics" arena. <---- I need a name for that group.

"....trouble making kooks......." :lol::lol:

spot on.

Her website is full of CofS-related accolades. I don't see how she can continue to trumpet them. Once stripped of all these "honours," it will be interesting to see what she will then pimp her status with.

Paul

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking.

I have to confess I've never heard of her. So when I saw this thread, I checked out her website. When you strip away the fluff and drama essentially she sounds like some kind of a field auditor who does "consulting".

If she has to take the Scio out of it, she might not be left with much.

That's how you feel. I feel the way I feel. We are different people. The way I feel after looking at her website, and other stuff on the net is: an idiot left the Cof$ today. That's some money the cult will be losing out on. As regards her? She's a complete idiot.

First thing is to allow her to continue to cause her effects on the cult internally and within her circles of friends and asociates by this important decision.

I don't think that we here are influencing her with regard to that one way or the other.

No smearing is neccessary, as she's shown herself to be a vain and egotistical idiot, by putting stuff like this on her website:

"No laurel wreath, trophy, award or commendation throughout history compares to the International Association of Scientologists Freedom Medal. Nor does any badge of honor parallel what that medal represents in terms of service to mankind, and real freedom for all."

So you carry on feeling your feelings, and I'll carry on feeling mine.

Depends on the person who's discussing them.

I sometimes see former Sea Org staff on critical fora bragging about their past certs, training and posts...Just sayin'.

:whistling:

That's very true.

It's interesting how many exes really do hold onto so much anger because Scientology didn't appreciate what a great auditor or C/S or exec or whatever they were.

It's kind of understandable, but ... kind of shows they really haven't let it go.
