What does London, Las Vegas and Scientology have in common?

What does Las Vegas, London and Scientology have in common? A spy in the sky system. In London there are cameras that spy on people, covering various parts of the city. In the Las Vegas (and other) casinos there are the black plastic upside down domes containing cameras. We have all seen them in movies - and have read articles about how they have sophisticated image recognition software. The software can recognize a person by their head shape, ears, eye color etc. – and is good enough that it is seldom fooled by beards, sunglasses. They weed out the con men, the card sharks, the card counters etc. to keep the Vegas gamblers feeling safe, and more importantly, to keep the money the marks are wagering going to one entity – the casinos. It is rather obvious they have an extensive data base of images, names and other information that the computers access, perhaps as soon as the person first gets picked up by their cameras. Interestingly – the casinos within a single corporation are hooked up with a sharing system - so Joe the Shark can walk into any of the chain’s casinos and be recognized.

While I was at Flag in the Sandcastle, I remember seeing those same cameras, and when I went to a locked door, many times I would get let in without having to state who I was when I buzzed. Many staff I had no idea of who they were or what they did knew my name – and I began to wonder – do they have briefings showing photos of the public on lines to the staff? While I never questioned Flag’s security system, believing at the time it was to protect the secrets of the universe, I began to wonder..

I am all sure you remember Angry Gay Popes video of the new Pasadena org – how he wandered in with a buddy and posed as tourists until he was recognized and was asked to leave. And now Tony Ortega reports in his New York Org film “Festival” article he was recognized and was shown the door? Spooky.

Does anyone have any idea where the camera system is located in say the LA org, CC, ASHO etc? I don’t recall seeing the cameras yet obviously they must be there. I recall seeing this guy dash into the LA Org and try to set off the fire alarm – I was amazed to see how quickly security had him tackled and was given the bums rush. Their spy system must have recognized him, perhaps when he was outside and alerted security. They must have quite a data base of protesters, SP’s, declareds, media flacks etc. as well as the rank and file staff and public, and it must be interconnected throughout the entire Scientology system. Does anybody know more about the workings of this system?

More importantly - is it legal?

You are only scratching the surface. The entire world is getting into this freaky spook shit, with cameras up everywhere now, because they are so inexpensive, and all linked together with face recognition software, along with all the cameras in the private sector being plugged into the same software and using the same databases ... at the local WalMart, the local convenience store at the gas station, the parking lot cams, the ones in office buildings and schools, etc. In fact, there was even mention of all this on an episode of "Law and Order" going back 4 or 5 years now. Alex Jones used to rant on this topic a great deal, but has since moved on, because they are simply a fact of life now. We are in a total surveilance control grid.

If there is any media mention of this shit at all, what they do is do as many interviews as possible to find some idiot who says "I like it because it helps keep us safe." Most people are frightened by these developments if they are forced to confront them, but mainly we are in denial. For those few idiots that "feel safer" with this surveilance ... that would be like cattle in a slaughterhouse feed lot feeling safer due to being penned in.

Eventually, this issue may be brought front and center, but, if so, it will be along the lines of some fugitive being caught with this gear. But it will work its way down to the point where you will not be able to show your face in public if you have an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on some speeding ticket or are late with a child support payment for that matter.

Some may say that I am paranoid, but, as I see it, the ultimate purpose of the system will be to spot those who refuse to be microchipped.

Cameras all over the place at PAC. They are visible, usually high in the corner by the ceilings. When I last saw the place from the inside (1995/6) the control room, called "Control," was just inside the Horseshoe entrance on the right. There was a bank of small black and white monitors, with many cameras focused on entrances, along with all the other electronic gear.

I assume CC Int has its own separate system.
