i kinda liked this album , it was strange but good , songs usually have rubbish lyrics so it seemed fitting here

I believe this was made before the golden era musicians and of course the jive aces

speaking of music and the golden era musicians .. have they released anything after the 'joy of creating'? It's been a while since I've been out

ah thank you, I'd heard that one before, no wonder the record seemed a bit short .. and yes perhaps I exaggerated when I said it was 'good' but who cares

btw perhaps it was purely coincidence but I bought this album whilst onlines at asho way back when ...

Wow, after listening to that I have an irresistible urge to listen to Christian rock!

I didn't get far on the Bridge, but I read LRH's introduction to Volume I of Dianetics Series; it said that all one has to do is to read Volume I and start auditing on his own. I loved the idea because it saved me tons of money.

I was doing auditing based on Volumes I and II, which was fun. Public Scientologists didn't trust me because I didn't have the formal Dianeticcs education. But I had plenty of non-Scientology friends who were eager to try something new. Of course, I was not charging them for the services.

I learned a lot of Dianetics stuff missing from the Bridge courses, as I was told. For example, I learned things like "sperm dreams" which none of my educated colleagues knew about. I liked being "the most informed Dianetics auditor", as I proudly called myself.

In total I delivered more than 300 hours of auditing before I started having serious doubts about Dianetics. But before that I enjoyed my work.

I feel like I never found as much hatred for sci or dianetics as you guys , mostly because I was just a kid hanging around at the orgs and that was fun... I wasn't aggressively regged because I was too young to have a job .. the people were friendly and outgoing ... I didn't like studying dia/sci but maybe because I was trying to take it seriously ..

however I can vibe with you all and I also know why anyone could detest it... not just because of the money but also because forcing oneself to believe in anything is unhealthy

don't get me started with dia/scio .. because it is like a can of worms which i don't feel like spewing all over the floor and your shirt

I feel like I never found as much hatred for sci or dianetics as you guys,

Each one of us is an individual.

Hatred is a strong word and an intense emotion. Someone started a thread titled, IIRC correctly, What I hate in Scientology. This, of course, played into the hands of those who want to depict those participating on this forum as "haters." Nonetheless, it was a pretty good thread with lots of information and laughs.

Be that as it may, I, personally, don't feel any hatred for Scientology.

I just don't.

I see it for what it is.

And, in my opinion, it's a mix of bad with some good speckled about, with the bad dominating and kept mostly behind the scenes, and the good (and also that viewed as desirable) dangling like Christmas ornaments for all to see.

A big part of the good in Scientology is the people - the "rank and file" - who are misguided, but deep down are good people thinking they are making a better world.

The "good" part of Scientology serves as a key portion of its disguise, also "goodness" provides a kind of psychological lubrication that keeps the Scientology people machine running.

Unless one can acknowldge and describe the good bits and pieces (including the good people) of Scientology - used as disguise, concealing the dark and evil hidden core - one cannot fully warn others about the disguises and trickery of Scientology.

For some, that this disguise contains some "good" makes it impossible to see.

That is to Scientology's advantage.

You don't need to take anything back ... as Veda said we are each individuals and on top of that we are each at different stages of "deculting".

We're all still here for you and each other, some more eccentric than others (Lol) ... we just don't need to be ordered around these days and told "how we must act" in order to make money for the coffers of a nasty cult, because that's all we were really doing.
