Hey, but wait a minute!

There are no buyers yet so that actual free market value of the basic books is $0!

No buyers, you say?

Scientology can handle that!

Remember when Ron's fiction books hit the bookstore shelves and terrified management scammed parishioners to defraud the "BEST SELLER" book list by simply buying armfuls of the books that nobody was reading.

Hubbard literally stole the admiration and acclaim. He inferior work never actually made it onto any BEST SELLER lists by reason of real book-readers buying and enjoying his work.

Now, it is part of the Hubbard PR machine with Scientologists boasting about Ron's "bestselling books".

Come to think of it, isn't Hubbard's specialty just that? Thievery.

Anybody get what they paid for by spending a half-million dollars on the bridge to OT?

Thievery, plain and simple.

Well, you have something here.

Remember all that yap about the methods of exchange and all that?

Remember that at rip off and partial exchange those that did these methods actually owed a debt to society?

That means these freakin' basic books have a negative value = less than $0.

As in you'd have to be paid to take them!

I know I wound up with at least two sets and never paid a dime.

Therefore, the actual value of these basics is something equivalent to zero or below!

PS Even with all that fraud Clifford the Dog and the Berenstein Bears sold more than the factual secrets of the universe...this is so stupid that I should post it twice on the Top 100 Stupidest Scientology Moments or whatever the hell it is...

HA HA! Apple is a cult as well. In Scn you buy something, it doesn't work and it's your fault. An Apple customer buys a phone, he doesn't get proper reception, and guess what! It's the customer's fault because he isn't holding the device correctly.

Scientologists are not supposed to use non-Scn solutions, Apple devices are locked to only use Apple software and apps. You want Flash? Forget it. Steve does not approve.

Apple is extremely litigious.

Apple makes insane profits by producing at Foxconn in China. This is a company where emplyees are now required to sign a waver promising that they won't kill themselves. The workers get more money than Sea Orgers (not much, though), but they don't get room and board.

When Apple launches a new product, all the fanatics storm the Orgs...er Stores and spend tons of money even if they could get a similar or better product for less money elsewhere.

If you criticise Apple the fanatics will try to convert you. If that doesn't work, they will ignore you or try to shatter your suppression. I know, my brother is one of them.

Apple wants all your money. Apple wants you to hate the competition. Apple knows where you are at all times. Apple knows what you think. Apple know what you want. Apple is always right. Apple knows what's best for you. Apple wants to rule the world.

But at least they don't promise that using their products will give you unlimited super human powers. And they don't have reeducation gulags for truant customers. Yet.

Close analogy - 'cept Apple does have a viable product that is actually worth something and it's pretty much what you expected...also, their quality department and customer service actually mean quality and service instead of cajoling, bullying and abuse...just sayin'.

Contrast that with Scientology where virtually every engagement has been a let down, has left me diminished in capacity at some level and has always been negotiated with me purposefully held at effect with Scientology at cause, be that at any org level or what-have-you.

Scientology is manipulative and exploitative and leaves you with that greasy feeling of just having gotten slimed.

(SHEESH! Here I am quoting myself!)

Actually, this got me to thinking and reminded me of Feral's post from here:

....the road to Narcissism.

What was sold as the route to "OT" was in fact a carefully taped path that leads, if followed precisely, to a delusional state where you are the cause of everything that occurs around or to you. Your universe is imposed on and dominates the physical one, hence; 8-8008. Infinity of self being created from the apparent infinity of the MEST universe being reduced to zero and the apparent zero of ones theta universe being expanded to infinity.

You become a Godlike being who shapes your life with your thoughts, in fact you are CAUSE, on top of that there is the promise up the line of "power on all 8 dynamics", "total freedom", exteriorisation from ones body and even this universe. You in fact will be able to operate without a body such will be your power. 8-8008 .

Much to your dismay you will find on this path that each misfortune that besets you was a glitch in your creation caused by PTSness or some other form of out-ethics.

Do not fear! After a $20,000 confessional a 15 year old MAA will read the results of your KR and advise you on how to get back on the right track. Unfortunately this will involve some or all of the following; disconnecting from any sources of distraction or antagonism, large donations to further the Churches aims, an effective blow to anyone not toeing the line, more auditing and/or a specialist training line up (at your own expense).

At the end of this you will write an acceptable success story (or you will never get out) that entails that you attest that you're now back on the true path. You will need to convince yourself, this is an important step on the road to NDP (Narcisictic Personality Disorder) as you will accept your attestation as truth. If it wasn't *true* you wouldn't have written it, would you?

In just a few decades of this you will be as dissociated as Hubbard, you might believe you have superior music writing skills, or talent in photography, poetry or even a brand new history of your own accomplishments. You may even believe you are mankind's only hope.

To give you one example of NPD that I never could get out of my head: I was asked to recover an OT who had been com-eved, reverse audited and seriously abused by the cult. I spent days on this as it was a top priority FSM mission. I visited this person and lobbied the org for a B of I at their request. When this person decided they would in fact go in to the AO they first explained carefully to me (unprovoked) that I wasn't instrumental in achieving this at all, they had priorly decided they should go in and thus "pulled me in". I was but a manifestation of their cause!

The state sold as "OT" only exists in the minds of those who are at least partially groomed and molded on the bridge and the belief that you are in fact "OT" is to some degree worthy of your critical inspection.

Please any one affronted by this invalidation; I wasn't thinking of you!

I was thinking of me and Ron .

None of this is to say that there weren't wins and gains, it is to suggest there was a hard line between fact and fiction and that line didn't just blur, it disappeared.

I write this so that you, my dearest friend, do not end your days living in a trailer with your wife in jail and a midget manipulating you into hiding in the desert.

This is a part of the weird trap, as well and that is this...

...on one part you have that whole 8008 crap about reducing the physical universe to zero and expanding your universe to infinity...but that only works until you have completed the current action and it's time to visit the reg again or get handled in ethics or get handled in a recruit interview or to dono to the IAS or to blah, blah, blah, etc.

Then, it's every trick in the world to reduce your universe to zero and expand the physical universe to infinity.

What?...you say? How's this?

Because the whole game is to keep you buying "cause" and the only way to do that is to ruin you and push your face so hard into the effect so that you want to be cause again. Then Scientology is there to step in and save the day, once again.

Somebody commented on what the free personality test line was like when someone actually had a high oca graph - that meant they were in even worse shape! It's true!! That type of graph is a theetie-weetie graph where they're so overtous that it's all sweetness and light.

At any rate, no matter what the graph was the drill was to ruin them so utterly they had to reach. You squashed their universe to zero and crushed them with an apparent ruin that was infinitely huge.

That's the whole part of the game and it's even clear in what Feral wrote above.

This has led me to now speculate here on why this is so and how Ron came to rise above the bank.

Let's see...the bank is effect and has in it the various mechanics of the overt/motivator sequence, missed withholds and missed withhold phenomena, natter and critical remarks the result of overts, blows and reactive group think.

Therefore, when one rises above the bank one rises above these various mechanical aspects as the overt/motivator sequence, missed withhold phenomena, natter and critical remarks as the result of overts, blows and reactive group think.

That means that if one were to rise above the bank one would have total freedom from these various mechanical aspects.

This would leave one free to commit overts galore because they would NOT be reactive overts and would NOT subject one to the adverse affects of the overt/motivator sequence. That is to say that one would be analytically committing overts and, as such, completely free from the overt/motivator sequence dramatization.

The same goes for making critical remarks and natter. That would be reactive and grounds of overts if it were banky but if it's done analytically from a being who has risen above the bank then it's completely analytical natter and critical remarks.

One would be free to commit overts and not worry about being subjected to mechanical dramatizations like blows, natter, missed withhold phenomena, etc. Why? Because one analytically did these things with free choice and determinism.

That's how Ron was risen above the bank and that's why it's OK for Ron to cheat on his wives, lie to the public, abscond with cash, have others convicted for his crimes, copyright others materials, pump himself and his kids full of drugs, create the anti-Christ, drive Paulette Cooper insane and so on. It's because Ron causatively and analytically did these things as his universe was infinite and the physical universe was zero - he was above the bank!

It's all so clear now!!

Ron's Total Freedom to fuck over, lie, cheat, defraud and blame others!

Karma has no reach on Ron!

A trait of an "abberative personality" per LRH - "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND (A Scientologist) "forced to stop any critical thinking about the CULT!:hyper: The ultimate excuse used by Scientologists when the crimes are exposed:
1. "Broken pieces"
2. They are going "Ideal Org"
3. It was an individual - not the group
4. The TECH WORKS 100% of the time when "standardly" applied
5. "HIDDEN STANDARD"

A trait of an Ex-Scientologist - WE WERE CONNED! We wasted our money, time and energy with the CULT! The common thread of an Ex-Scientologist:
1. I applied the tech. I paid a ton of money, I was sessionable, I rearranged my schedule, gave up my family and wog friends, showed up to events, donated money I did not have, donated time I should have not, Scientology gave me so many problems I DID NOT WANT!

PEOPLE LEAVE BECAUSE THEY ARE UPSET! We have plenty to be upset about!

What Scientologists do not understand about EX-Scientologists:

THE EX!

ESMB is the Pee Cee folder for the Church of Scientolgy - the ETHICS folder and it is THICK! You know what that means??? :omg:

Yep...S PEE!! The Church of Scientology is an S PEE group according to its own Ethics folder. No case gain! Ineffectively disseminates (Tom Cruise), rails against any effective dissemination - happy customers, no deaths and disconnection,

What about: EXCHANGE IN ABUNDANCE! Do they really think the services are worth the cost? REALLY??? REALLY??

Your question is perfect. But. . .

That's one of the tricks that Scientologists don't understand about Scientology.

Nobody in Scientology thinks about whether the services are worth the cost. Nobody in Scientology thinks about much of anything, because Scientologists think that another Scientologist (higher on the command channel) knows the answer.

Everyone from the bottom up, ultimately looks to Hubbard or Miscavige as though they actually know something.

They don't. There is a scientific study of this in the book 'The Emperor's Knowingness'.

To pass the time while waiting for their cult leader to tell them the answer to everything, Scientologists do a lot of admiration flowing and standing ovations to make it look like they are in on the secret.

It is interesting that Internet commerce thrives in much part because of the customer "reviews" and "feedback". It allows customers to judge how honest the seller is on the quality of the products being sold.

Scientology tries to trick the process by banning reviews or seeking to harass, terrorized and intimidate former customers so they are afraid to post their feedback.

The stench of Scientology's heavy-handed bullying to annihilate negative feedback is unmistakable

Honest businesses do not have to resort to this sort of low-level criminal behavior.

Compare Apple, the world's most valuable brand. People literally line up on the sidewalk and sleep there overnight in order to buy the company's new products the following day.

Ever seen anyone lined up outside a Scientology org?

Would you like to write a Success Story?

You'd think after 61 years, Scientologists would figure out that their business model doesn't work.

The correct statement is far more scary: "You'd think after 61 years that we would figure out that their business model doesn't work." It's truly stunning that the thing hasn't collapsed into rubble before today. It may be another 20 years of circling the drain before their swirly fate is sealed.

Exactly.

It takes more than diminished customer support for a criminal enterprise to fully crash and burn. Witness the mafia in American, establishing its roots in at the beginning of the 20th century when it was known as the "Black Hand". Realistically, it wasn't until nearly 100 years later when a massive undercover FBI campaign infiltrated and "turned" top members that the "teflon" mafiosi leaders began to fall, one by one.

However, the organization by that time had embezzled, stolen, scammed, defrauded, robbed and strong-armed massive fortunes and instituted boa-constrictor controls into unions, legitimate industries and even the legal system.

This is very similar to what Scientology does. It commits crimes 24/7 until government agencies come in literally and shut it down or put its leadership in prison where they belong. The FBI raids a few decades ago gave a profound indication of the hard-core felonies being perpetrated by Hubbard and his gang. And that was only what was DISCOVERED!

Can one even imagine what Hubbard was successfully able to hide?

Scientology's trick is that they scammed the IRS into a religious status. It was the single most brilliant thing that Hubbard ever did. That tech actually worked.

Scientology: The only organization in the world, beside a whore house, where a cheap curtain is drawn when people try to see what is going on inside.

Other than that, the activities behind the curtain are remarkably the similar in that people are being f*cked. However, in a whore house, the customer exits satisfied.
