For a looooooong time, (course the whole time while in and on Staff) and for years and years while off and EVEN after we 'left', I thought Hubbard was a GOOD man..REALLY wanted/meant to help mankind, etc... but that the terminals using the tech were just out-KSW with it, etc....

And thanks to ESMB and the Net and many of you all who've worked side by side with lrh, I slowly but surely have realized that NO, HE was a CON MAN! (course that hurt at first, then ya go thru the stages of grief on just that one fact..at least I did). Cuz for a while, I kept always going with Co$'s thing on it's ALWAYS O/W's, MU's etc. that causes one to 'blow' from $cn, etc.etc....

It feels really YUCK to feel so duped for so long and so hard, ya know?

But....yet I don't think I wouldn't have done it again, the little bit of info I DID get outta $cn was well...fascinating and really STRETCHED my mind and soul in not-so-bad ways...ya know? :confused2:

BUT....thank god people like Jenna, John Peeler, Jeff, Marc, etc telling how demented DM, lrh, is/has always been.....

I AM NEVER FALLING for something like $cn, AGAIN!!!!

Now, when we get promo in the mail and I read the "excerpt from LRH" it seems disjointed and he is constantly interupting himself.

Tanstaafl-Thank you for your response- I've always held book one auditors in very high regard- doing it the hard way holds great appeal to me- for life generally for most of us is doing it the hard way. I'm looking forward to hearing others define how hubbard was brilliant.

I only do Book One auditing, and I have found myself having to use it in all manner of places, very rarely a formal "session". Just looking at my phone bill, and the huge number of hours I have spent dealing with exes who still want to believe in the tech reveals hundreds of hours.

One spends most of his time writing up O/Ws and past considerations, and the other wants my help to digest what he's lately read on A.R.S.e.

If you like Dianetics, try my Paul's Robot Basic R3X module. It keeps incidents to this lifetime or so and doesn't go back and do the whole pre-MEST Universe trip like the full R3X procedure does. You can even do it without Rub&Yawn if you want to be a purist, although I find it works much better with. It's good stuff. You can use it to run out a specific time period, like "my three years in the SO" if you wish.

For me, the key words were "... your purveyors of Truth." The only truth that is purveyed to me now comes only from within. However, that has only been of a recent handful of years of the total 57 counted thus far. It was far from always being so, particularly from the years before, leading up to, and when I was "in." Ram Tzu's slant pretty much fit me in those foolish, immature, groping and floundering days. At the time, lron would have only been the latest on the chain of external purveyors I was looking to for answers to the internal confusion that life had become to me. When I was IN (active staff/SO 1975-1982; inactive 1982-~1994), lron was anything but ordinary to me.

It's been an interesting journey. I now can (and did) honestly answer the poll question that he is truly nothing to me, there is no regarding relation present. Only a faint memory of a past long dead that is worth what? Less than the effort needed to recall bits of it.

I understand this paradox, and thanks for sharing this with me. I agree that all the answers we seek are already within, I've learned that one too however for me there are still the last remenants of madness and insanity from that particular past that I need to learn to let go of. Yes, it has indeed been an interesting journey, and one that has hopefull left us more compassionate and understanding as people.

Hah!! I know that, it's true and you're right. Most days I do try to remind myself of the positives, and yes, there are positive and meeting all of you is for sure one of them, a revelation for me in fact and one that I am deeply grateful for.

I'm glad you're posting more now and 'can't shut up', yes, this reminds me of someone I know.. it starts to get like that the more you learn! I'll bet though it was my explanation that did it for you.. Yes, it's a funny old thing isn't it, in fact I only noticed today that peoples' post countes are up there in front of us on the top right hand corner!! I used to think that other's had some sort of 'information' on me!! Honestly, still half asleep.. :confused2:
