When you die, you’ll die alone and in pain and in the dark.

I think that if one is in the SO, given their track record as to how they treat SO staff and older people in the SO, that one would be far more likely to die alone and in the dark than would any of us here. Only thing is, I wouldn't be glad. That's where this shithead (whom Ax talked to) and I differ.

Sadly Fluffy, I think that this is all too true.

I know of several Sea Org members who continued working at St Hill far beyond the normal retirement age. And if they get chronically ill, staff are quietly given a fitness board and kicked out.

I know of a guy, who very much like George in the video, has been a Scientologist since the 60s and had progressed up the Bridge to OTVII as public. Then, having spent every penny he had earned, joined the Sea Org to help put his ‘shoulder to the wheel’ etc. He ‘knew’ that this was the most ethical thing that he could do.

But, after having been in the Sea Org for a few years, he suffered an accident and was badly injured. Did the CoS use the miraculous Technology at its disposal to restore him to full health or at least ease his suffering? Did they provide a calm and restful environment where he could recuperate? After all, he had devoted several years of his life to serving his church, surely this mandated some care and compassion in return?

No, they gave him a fitness board and threw him out on the street. While still crippled from his injuries, he had to find himself a place in a council-run nursing home, as he had no one to look after him.

The callousness of the cult of Scientology’s behaviour is truly disgusting.

Fortunately, this story has a happy ending of sorts and one, which when I heard it, brought tears to my eyes.

When his ex-wife (divorced because she didn’t want to carry on with Scientology after getting onto the OT levels) heard what had happened to him, she went down to the nursing home and took him back to live with her and helped to nurse him back to health.

Now, he is unable to continue with his Bridge, because he has no money to pay for it (a meagre state pension only because OTs don’t need a private pension do they?) and cannot work because of his injuries. But the worst part is, he still supports the ‘Tech’ and thinks that what happened to him was because he “pulled it in” (actual words).

I have heard that Flag rents a floor or two in an old folks home in CW, where they send their ex-SO to End Cycle. They are not allowed to have ANY LRH books, meters, etc, and are not to mention Scn as it would be "out-PR". Obviously they are cut off from family, etc, so that they really are "alone".

This is from someone who spent many years on staff at the Fort Harrison....

An Update.

Thanks to some sterling work by the guys at WWP (thanks guys – you rock ), this video has become very popular. It’s got over 38,000 views on YouTube and 645 comments, and been linked to from too many other sites to mention. It’s also got a ton of comments from other sites like Digg.com.

Needless to say, most of them are very negative towards Scientology, so we can all take a win there!

You caught an OT VIII Sea Org member on camera acting like a text book Scientologist, and in George's case probably the last time he will ever be allowed alone in public again. It's like snapping a picture of a rare bird, especially now since Scientology is imploding, and the reason for it's implosion is the truth being revealed such as this video exposing what Hubbard's Tech does to people

I have to watch it... Hearing about this kind of outrageous idiocy makes me want'a bang my head against the tabletop. Aside from giving me a headache it'll possibly ruin the keyboard..

:duh:

I just got a chance to watch the video. Gosh, that was scary. The insane cackle, the accusations of wife beating? WTF? And so so so certain about it all.

Scientology is after all the "science of certainty". You'd just best be careful what you're being certain of.

Yes it's a "science of certainty" ,if you take it seriously, it certainly messes you up, there's no ambiguity there

Someone should do a voiceover for this...

Now we are coming up on a rare OTVIII outside of his natural habitat. Watch how he squacks and puffs up his dull, but protective feathers as we approach. Shhh, it must be mating season. We don't want to scare him off....

Anyone is certainly entitled to have opinions and ideas and cognitions—so long as these do not bar the route out for self and others.
Scientology is a workable system. It white tapes the road out of the labyrinth. If there were no white tapes marking the right tunnels, Man would just go on wandering around and around the way he has for eons, darting off on wrong roads, going in circles, ending up in the sticky dark, alone.

unless i am mistaken, this is a reference to when Mary Sue was imprisoned in a penitentiary for hubbard's crimes. he was in hiding (by himself) in a bluebird trailer (at night), gazing at his own photograph and masturbating.

Very well done, Axe. I am filing a commendation chit on you for ESMB files.

I am just wondering if this guy would be praised by fellow Sea Org members, or dragged through ethics by them?

He is obviously a product of what he learned from Scientology scriptures. That product should be valued... no? Or, would he be told in ethics he went by misunderstoods on what he studied in Scientology?

Probably, Scientology scriptures can be used to justify any viewpoint incuding those that are 180 degrees opposite to each other.

In that sense Scientology is truly a religion.

When it comes to Scientology it is a totalitarian cult, all rational and objective thought is to be left at the door upon entering. He will be dragged through ethics, for the simple fact that anything which exposes Hubbard's scam is a crime, and an OT VIII displaying such complete dysfunctionality certainly falls under the catagory of exposing Hubbard's scam

I have had two EXTREMELY well connected persons give me specifics
on this.

Phyll Stephens was sent to one of these.

This will just ratchet things up another notch. Eventually they will have a policy of not talking to anyone. I've already heard they are extremely suspicious of public walking in. I can imagine this "church" promising such enormous benefits to mankind but refusing to talk to anyone at all. Sounds like a sure plan of success. Time to speed up R&D on hibernation tech.

An interesting question. It could go either way I suppose, depending on the seniors involved.

On one hand, from their viewpoint he was following "Responsibility of Leaders" to make an "enemy" go thunk in the night. On the other, it is bad PR and makes him look like a loon.

But to them he doesn't look like a loon, that's how they think too - he's just "indicating bypassed charge" and handling camera man's "bank". And he blindly defends David Miscavige from the blatant lie that he abuses his staff, and the bad PR is only more "bad hats" piling on.

I'm going to go with they give him a bump in pay on this, job well done telling off that horrible squirrel.

That is the mystical reason that SCIENTOLOGY ALWAYS WORKS.

If something worked (anything) it is, ipso facto, SCIENTOLOGY.

If anything did not work, it was not SCIENTOLOGY.

When in doubt as to whether something was or was not a correct application of Scientology (e.g. George The OT's videotaped performance) here is the way to decide:

* if your senior says it was standard Scn then it was standard Scn
* if anyone senior to your senior says it was squirrel, then it was squirrel.
* if any problem is caused by any action that is provably standard Scn, then it was obviously squirrel.
* if any upstat was caused by any action that is provably squirrel, then it was obviously standard Scn.
* all of the above rules are to be applied 100% of the time, except when it is "greatest good" to not apply these rules 100% of the time.
