The super-nova phenomena is almost the exact similar phenomena as you get when you have an Ascension Experience.
The super-nova phenomena is a star collapsing on itself. The end result, after the pyrotechnics, is a very dense body from which light does not emit. A neutron star, in which the electron shells on the atoms is squeezed in. Hence the name, neutron star.
If the star was very big before the collapse it may even form a black hole. An even denser body, from which light itself cannot escape. Hence the name, Black Hole.
I fail to see how a super-nova event could ever be compared to a spiritual feeling good event!
A super-nova going off in this viscinity of the universe. Say, within half a million lightyears(?), would be a natural catastrophe that would make us (human kind) and any life on earth extinct.
A super-nova is a sun ending it's (service) life. The nuclear burning that gives off sunlight has burned all the burnable material. So if it our own sun going super-mova it will of course also make us extinct.
Also, the fact that a star collapses and gravity get so heavy as to compress matter as we know it into a dense mass of neutrons.. Conditions under which life is impossible. Well that doesn't exactly align with my view of spiritual highs. Rather it compares to a particularly bad headache.
Considering all this, I will politely decline to have any Ascension Experience, thank you!
